  • SJ gives her three best NBA Player Prop Bets for Monday, November 25

It's Monday, and you know what that means. There's a full slate of NBA games tonight, including two marquee matchups! With nine games scheduled for tonight, there's a highly awaited showdown between the Los Angeles Clippers (11-7, 4-3 away) and the reigning champion Boston Celtics (14-3, 6-2 home). With big man Kristaps Porzinigis making his season debut tonight, can the Celtics cover as -11.5 point spread favorites at home?

For the late-night matchup, there's an upcoming Western Conference clash between the OKC Thunder (12-4, 4-2 away) and the Sacramento Kings (8-9, 4-5 home). In what should be a competitive outing, the Thunder are tabbed as -4.5 point spread favorites on the road. Heading to one of the loudest arenas in the NBA, can the Thunder squeak out the victory?

In this article, I will list my three top player prop bets for the NBA matchups. If you're tailing my picks, I have a betting record of 41-21 in November. Up nearly 6 units on the month, I am looking to provide value picks and stay in the green. But first, let's take a look at the current NBA FanDuel odds and slate for Monday, November 25.

NBA Props Monday, November 25

Player Prop Best Bet #1: Franz Wagner

Franz Wagner 2024-2025 Season Stats

G: 18 | PPG: 23.6 | FG: 47.4  % | FT: 86.4 % | 3PT : 35.7 % | REB: 5.8 | AST: 5.6 | STL: 1.7 | BLK: 0.2

  • Over 28.5 Points (-110 DraftKings)

My first player prop bet of today, I placed on unit on Magic forward Franz Wagner to score over 28.5 points vs the Hornets tonight. Named last week's Eastern Conference top player, is there anyone player better than Wagner right now? One of the most underrated players in the NBA, Wagner is truly having one of the best stretches in his career.

Averaging a career-high 23.6 points in year four, Wagner has not only elevated his game offensively, but is a young, established two-way player.

  • With Jalen Suggs listed as questionable, and Paolo Banchero out with injury, Wagner's betting value should continue to soar.

I do believe this is a strong prop play today, and there's many reasons for that. At 6-10, the Hornets are considered one of the lowest ranking teams in the NBA despite their recent draft improvements. Ranking no. 19 in defensive rating (115.1), this is a Hornets team that's riddled with injury. Having lost Grant Williams to an ACL injury was the recent devastation this week.

To make it worse, the Hornets have five additional players listed out for today's matchup, which include Miles Bridges, Tre Mann, Nick Richards, and Mark Williams. While some of those players haven't played a minute this season, the Hornets have very little depth. With the ability to play multiple positions, is there anyone on the Hornets who can truly stop Wagner? Unless this is a blowout, I see this as an excellent matchup.

Franz Wagner Has Shined For The Magic In The Absence of Paolo Banchero

Allowing the 19th most points to forwards, we've seen forwards cook Charlotte all season long. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (32) and Cam Johnson (34) pouring in well over 29 points, it's been a struggle point for the Hornets. This is especially importance since the Hornets allow the 16th most points in the paint (48.5).

Given Wagner is one of the more elite players in the paint, the forward is putting up the 17th most paint points (11.7), and should have a fairly decent matchup tonight. One of the best in accelerating to the rim, I'm all here for Franz Wagner season.

  • By far the Magic's leader in field goal attempts with Banchero out, bettors have witnessed Wagner's three-point % rise from last season.

We've seen the progression, especially with Wagner's attempts from downtown. While a threat inside, his long-distance shots have increased to 9,10 and even 11 attempts vs the 76ers. This alone, makes Wagner a viable threat to soar over this prop today. After all, Wagner has recorded back-to-back 30 and 37 points vs the Pistons and Lakers.

  • Nearly playing full minutes in competitive games, Wager is averaging exactly 28.8 points over the last five games. I'll take Franz Wagner to score OVER 28.5 points today.

My Final NBA Player Prop Betting Prediction: Franz Wagner OVER 28.5 Points (-110 DraftKings)

While this is the most inflated his point prop has been all season, Wager is shooting at an insane volume and an efficient enough clip to drive this over today. Don't forget, Wagner poured in 32 points in the Magics 114-89 victory back a few weeks ago. Given the forward scored nine third quarter points, and was rest the entire fourth, that makes me even more confident.

With 23 first half points, Wagner's three-level scoring abilities were on full display vs the Hornets. Fadaways off one foot, and three-point jumpers. Wagner finished from 14-25 from the field, and 2-9 from downtown.

Overall, losing Banchero was supposed to be the biggest blow of the season. That's until Wagner stepped up as the top offensive threat for the Magic. Averaging 25.8 without Banchero on the court, I'm riding the hot hand. Aside from the Clippers, Wagner's never been so hot. Coming off a 30 point performance, we saw the forward come close to recording a triple double. With that said, Wagner didn't play an ounce of the fourth quarter due to a surging lead.

  • If you're tailing my player prop bets for day, this is one of my favorite best bets of the night. I'm betting on Franz Wagner to score OVER 28.5 points.

Player Prop Best Bet #2: Michael Porter Jr.

Michael Porter Jr.  2024-2025 Season Stats

G: 15 | PPG: 18.6 | FG: 49.8 % | FT: 64.5 % | 3PT : 40.6 % | REB: 7.1 | AST: 3.0 | STL: 0.9 | BLK: 0.4

  • Over 23.5 Points + Rebounds (-120 DraftKings)

My second player prop bet of today, I placed on unit on Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. to record over 23.5 points and rebounds vs the New York Knicks.

Averaging a career-best 18.6 points per game since the 2020-2021 season, there's no doubt Porter Jr. was off to a dreadful start. Now climbing the standings at 9-6, both Aaron Gordon and Porter Jr. were crucial reasons why the Nuggets had such a slow start.

  • Averaging 13.3 points in the first month, MPJ couldn't buy a shot. Shooting an abysmal 39.6 % from the field, and 29. 6 % from downtown, it's safe to say Porter's found his stride.

With Jamaal Murray and Nikola Jokic leading the show, Porter Jr. should continue to see more opportunities with Aaron Gordon out of the lineup. Helping Denver to a 7-3 record over the last 10 games, it's been Porter, who's averaged 20.5 points alone this month. With 27 rebounds in the last three games, he's simply been sensational.

If you're tailing my picks for today, I simply love this prop from a points perspective, and I do believe it's set too low. We have to remember, this is a player that's scored 24 points twice in three games vs the Lakers and Grizzlies.

  • Not to mention, Porter Jr.'s percentages have sky rocketed to 53 % from the field, and 44.6 % from deep in November.

The Knicks Struggle Against Forwards On The Glass And Scoring

Averaging 21.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, and over 16 shot attempts over the last three games, I love this play for tonight. This is especially given the Nuggets have home court advantage. While Karl Anthony-Towns is listed as questionable, Josh Hart won't be an easily matchup on the defensive end. However, there is a clear cut mismatch height advantage that Porter Jr. has over Hart.

While the Knicks lost a step defensively, they allow the 30th most points to forwards. Allowing Lauri Markkenen (34), Corey Kispert (18). Cam Johnson (22) to all record 18+ points, that puts this into perspective.

  • I'm not sure what it is about the number 24, but MPJ's consistency is what's been the most important for the Nuggets.

Scoring 24 points in the last five outings, Porter Jr. has recorded 11 rebounds in two of the last three contests. Given the Knicks play a smaller three-guard lineup, the Nuggets remain the 6th best rebounding team in the NBA (46).

My Final NBA Player Prop Betting Prediction: Michael Porter Jr. OVER 23.5 Points + Rebounds (-120 DraftKings)

Sure, the Knicks limit opponents to a league best 40.1 boards per game. But even so, Michael Porter Jr. has cleared this prop line in eight of the last ten matchups. Playing nearly 40 points per game, the forward now gets a prime matchup with the Knicks. Allowing 8 of the last 10 forwards to tally over 23.5 points and rebounds, let's ride with it tonight.

Allowing the 2nd most rebounds to forwards, 27 boards in three games is exceptional. Even if KAT is able to suit up tonight, he will most likely pull Jokic out of the paint and stretch the floor. With this, MPJ should be an increased presence on the glass and inside scoring. The last head-to-head matchup vs the Knicks, Porter Jr. tallied 39 on this prop. Without Gordon in this lineup, this is a no brainer.

Give me Michael Porter Jr. to record over 23.5 points and rebounds today.

Player Prop Best Bet #3: Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving 2024-2025 Season Stats

G: 16 | PPG: 24.1 | FG: 47.9 % | FT: 86.5 % | 3PT : 41.8 % | REB: 4.6 | AST: 5.6 | STL: 1.1 | BLK: 0.2

  • 4+ Made Threes (+130 FanDuel)

My third player prop of today, I placed one unit on Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving to record 4+ threes vs the Atlanta Hawks. Already without Luka Doncic, Klay Thompson is now listed as questionable for tonight's outing. Either way, Irving has a clear path to cook up vs a Hawks team that ranks 22 in defensive rating.

We know the Hawks have struggled over the years on the defensive side, and not much has improved. Allowing the third most points to opponents in the NBA (120.5), this is a Hawks team that struggles to contain the perimeter. In fact, they allow the highest three-point percentage in the NBA (39.7 %). Giving opponents the most amount of three-point shots in the league (42.1), it's safe to say I love this prop for plus money.

My Final NBA Player Prop Betting Prediction: Kyrie Irving 4+ Made Threes (+130 FanDuel)

Hitting 4+ threes in 1 of the last 5 games, the stats will most likely tell you to bet the under. However, given the player prop's value, Irving has an excellent matchup with Atlanta. In fact:

  • Zach LaVine (4)
  • Steph Curry (4)
  • Dalano Banton (4)
  • Jordan Poole (4)
  • Derrick White (7)
  • Jalen Brunson (4)

Are all guards who've let it fly from the three-point line vs the Hawks. Giving up the 10th most three-pointers to guards, the Hawks rank 23rd in guard points. Clearing this prop line with 5, 5, and 7 three-pointers vs the Hawks without Doncic, let's go for it again.

Although Irving's three-point percentage has been less than stellar, he's averaged 18 three-point attempts vs the Heat and Nuggets without Doncic. While minutes and volume has increased without Luka over the last two games, I truly expect Irving to shoot far behind 25 % from beyond the arc. One of the purest shooters in the history of the NBA, I'm riding with Irving tonight.

  • The scoring numbers haven't been stellar without Doncic, however, this is strictly matchup based. Give me Kyrie Irving to record 4+ three-pointers today.
