Up 24 units on the month, With an NBA betting record of 16-5 on the season, I am up over 7 units thus far! With that said, below are my top player prop bets for Friday, October 25, and the NBA slate. All current odds are courteous of FanDuel Sportsbook.

It's important to note, some of my picks are straight bets, and others grouped into parlays. To stay profitable, I'll never give anything higher than a three leg parlay. Below are the updated odds and NBA schedule for Friday.

NBA Player Prop Bet #1: Myles Turner

My first player prop bet of the night, I placed a unit on a 2-leg parlay. Using a 50 percent odds boost, I bet on Pacers center Myles Turner to score over 15.5 points and to make over 1.5 made-three pointers tonight. While I don't always double-down on players, the 1.5 three-point prop was too enticing to pass up. However, Turner is the backbone of the Pacers front court, and gets the Knicks, who looked out of sorts in the season opener.

Although the Knicks faced the reigning champions, we know how elite the Celtics are. Known for their defensive prowess, Tom Thibodeau's squad looked nearly unrecognizable. After allowing big man Al Horford to drain three trey balls, I'm taking Myles Turner to hit two three-pointers, and here's why:

Turner is an elite floor spacer for the Pacers, who provides shot blocking, but can also drain shots from deep. I do believe this prop line is a bit low, and should be more along the lines of 2.5 plus. A 35.4 % career three-point shooter, Turner had a decent NBA season debut against the Pistons. Yes, I know it's Detroit, however, they seemingly have improved as a team.

Why This Player Prop Can Soar Over vs. Karl-Anthony Town's Defense

In 36 minutes, Turner totaled 20 points, on 3-8 three-point shooting. Although the sample size is extremely small, eight three-point attempts certainly caught my attention. Now the Pacers get the Knicks, who allowed Horford to attempt five deep shots, and 11 from Jayson Tatum. Although I do expect some increased defensive effort from the Knicks, 2+ three-pointers is achievable.

Last season, we saw some early inconsistencies with Turner's three-point shooting. However, picking it up in the back half of the NBA season, Turner's three-point shooting vastly improved, especially in the month of March and heading into the playoffs. In a repeat of the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals, Turner had a fairly consistent series, shooting wise. With 4.0 three-point attempts per game, Turner shot an incredible 48.1 % from deep vs the Knicks in that series.

After a recent roster shakeup, the Knicks acquired big man Karl Anthony-Towns, who will matchup with Turner. With the departure of Julius Randle and Isaiah Hartenstein, New York's front' court is thin. This is especially true with Mitchell Robinson and Prescious Achiuwa sidelined with injuries.

Final NBA Player Prop Betting Prediction: Myles Turner over 1.5 made threes + over 15.5 points (+162 FanDuel)

While Towns is one of the most elite shooting big men in the NBA, defense is an issue at times. However, Towns limited Horford to 1-3 from the three-point line. Two of his deep shots came against Mikal Bridges and Cameron Payne. With the Knicks starting a smaller three-guard lineup, it will be impossible for Towns to sit at the three-point line all night.

Overall, the Celtics lit up Karl-Anthony Towns 6-11 from beyond the arc, and 11-19 from the field. With defensive question marks very much in the equation, Turner soared over 2+ three-pointers made in four of five matchups vs the Knicks last May. With a strong playoff run, Turner led the Pacers post-season success. If you're betting on the NBA, Turner's three-point prop hit the over in 8 of the last 10 games, and 21 of 30 games dating back to last year.

Including the 2024 playoffs, Turner averaged 3.9 deep shots a game, including hitting 6-8 vs the Knicks December. While the Knicks front court was reconstructed, Turner hit the over in 2/3 regular season matchups against New York. The Pacers have elite playmaking with Tyrese Haliburton at the helm. Lay the coin with Turner three-pointers and points tonight. Scoring 20 points in the season debut, Turner's scored over 15 points in three of the last four matchups with New York.

With the shot attempts and heavy play volume, I expect this parlay to hit tonight. If taken as straight bets or grouped into one, Turner hasn't averaged below 15.5 points since the 2021-2022 season.

NBA Player Prop Bet #2: Jalen Wilson

My second player prop of today, I placed one unit on Nets forward Jalen Wilson to score over 7.5 points today vs the Magic. Sure, Orlando continues to showcase their defense prowess. However, the second year star out of Kansas displayed his capabilities on Wednesday. Scoring a career-high 16 points in the NBA season opener vs the Hawks, the Nets reserve played 34 minutes off the bench, shooting 3-7 from the field, and 2-5 (40 %) from beyond the arch.

Hired as the Nets head coach in April, Jordi Fernández sees the full potential in Wilson. The 2024 summer league MVP, Wilson has a well balanced overall game. Witnessed in his collegiate career and summer league, Wilson isn't just limited to the three-point line. The forward excels in driving to the rim, and is explosive in the one-on-one iso matchups. Repeatedly blowing by defenders with his size and strength, 7.5 points isn't asking a lot. This is especially for a player who's expected to build on his offensive skills in his second year.

Excelling in drawing and-one opportunities, Wilson poured in eight points alone from the charity stripe. Shooting 100 percent from the line, we witnessed Wilson's evolution and growth in the back end of the season. Scoring over 7.5 points in the last five matchups for the Nets, Wilson should have plenty of opportunities tonight. With Bojan Bogdanovic unable to suit up for the Nets, Wilson should get some heavy minutes behind Cam Johnson.

Final NBA Player Prop Betting Prediction: Jalen Wilson over 7.5 points (-132 FanDuel)

This player prop won't come easy, the Magic rank second against forwards, and didn't allow the Miami Heat to score over 100 points. With Jimmy Butler scoring three points on 1-8 shooting, Wilson will be battle tested tonight. However, I am confident in this prop, especially if Fernández continues to plug Wilson in the rotation for extended minutes.

Tallying more minutes than Ben Simmons, Wilson scored over 7.5 points in all games where he played 25 minutes or more. Although failing to tally over 5 points over his career against the Magic, lay the points with Jalen Wilson tonight and expect him to attack inside.

NBA Player Prop Bet #3: Bradley Beal

My third player prop of today, I bet on Sun's Bradley Beal to hit 3+ three-pointers made vs the Lakers. Yes, I am aware Beal is probable with shoulder soreness. Although a bit of a risk at +150 odds, Beal's 1.5 three-point prop line is simply too juiced at -184 odds. -170 odds to drain two trey balls, I chose to bet on three for plus money.

Although it took some time, Beal is finding his groove and chemistry along side Kevin Durant and Devin Booker in the starting lineup. Scoring 24 points in his NBA season debut, Beal was showing bettors why the Suns initially trade for him. In a thrilling 116-113 overtime victory vs the Clippers, Beal tallied 38 minutes on the hardwood.

The second leading scorer on the Suns, Beal shot 8-12 from the floor, including 4-6 from downtown. Now he gets the Lakers, who are seemingly an improved defensive squad. However, with Anthony Edwards totaling 27 points, he shot 5-13 from downtown. To put this betting player prop line into perspective, the Lakers allowed Mike Conley and Edwards to combine for a total of 18 three-point attempts in the backfield. With Beal shooting 66.7 percent from the floor and the three, I'm confident in this play tonight, especially if the Lakers allow Booker and Beal to shoot a heavy volume of three-pointers.

Slated to lace up tonight, Beal's health has been in question for quite some time over the years. However, if on the court, I'm going to go ahead and take the risk on this one. A tough team to guard on the weak and strong side of the ball, Beal has lit up the Lakers over the last three outings. Pouring in 29, 24, and 37 points dating back to last season, Beal totaled eight three-points vs the Lakers last January.

Coming off four three-pointers, with careful consideration, bet on Bradley Beal to tally 3+ deep shots today.
