The Toronto Raptors find themselves eliminated from the NBA Cup, but there's still much to play for as this team looks to build some momentum with lead man Scottie Barnes back in the lineup.
Toronto's looked better of late with three wins in five games and some tight losses to good competition, and will now put that form to the test against a Miami Heat team which has been winning, but dealing with injury and trying to find their way offensively.
Let's build a same-game parlay for Raptors vs Heat on Friday, November 29th and lay out a few props that will work well as standalone straight bets as well.

Our first order of business here is backing Barnes, who's been a menace since returning to the lineup four games ago. He's gone over this number on two straight occasions, and will now be afforded a great matchup with Miami on Friday.
That should open the door for a stat hawk like Barnes, who has looked to utilize his length time and time again to cheat inside and snatch away boards from opponents.
Barnes was able to notch 12 boards in just 31 minutes last time out, and I think in a game which is projected to be difficult for the Raptors he should receive plenty of run here and be well-positioned to grab eight boards for a fifth time in nine games this year.
The Heat have leaned on their defense to get them this far, but that doesn't mean they're without their weaknesses.
Miami sits just 19th in 3-point defense according to Cleaning the Glass, and has allowed 41.1% of its opponents' looks to come from the arc which is the fifth-highest mark in the NBA.
Barrett has now launched six or more times in the last three games, knocking down two 3-pointers in two of those contests, and in a great matchup for shooting he should find some space to get cooking here.
Like Barnes, Barrett should see plenty of court time in a game which projects to be a tough one for the Raptors, and as one of the team's leaders in playing time we shouldn't have many concerns here about his chances of coming home on this prop.
The Raptors haven't exactly been great on defense, so it's only right we target someone from the Miami Heat side to take us home on this parlay.
Butler's the man who I'm willing to look to, despite the fact that he's coming off a brutal game which saw him score just six points.
The veteran sits in the top 10% of the league in shot frequency at the rim, which is nothing new judging by his career shot chart, but he's been a hair better this year at scoring in close with a solid 67% conversion rate at the rim.
Butler should punish this weak Raptors frontcourt defense and get back to scoring, something he did in spades in his first three games back from injury with 28.7 points per game before his recent clunker.
