The Los Angeles Lakers did their best to survive a six-game absence for LeBron James, splitting their last six, but now they'll look to get back to business on Saturday as James makes his return.
We'll cover the best way to back James and the Lakers, and highlight one man on the other side of the floor who should continue making his presence felt on offense.
Let's build a same-game parlay for Bulls vs Lakers on Saturday, March 22 and lay out a few props that will work well as standalone straight bets as well.

We'll start off by backing King James in his return to the floor for the Lakers, even if there are inherent concerns about his playing time. The fact of the matter is that James not only sustained a rather minor injury, but was scoring the ball at will before going down and should find himself enough playing time to exploit a very friendly matchup.
The Bulls have allowed the vast majority of their opponents' shots to come from 3 and the mid-range this month, but we're going to opt for the latter considering Chicago has been one of the best in the league when it comes to defending the arc.
Now that Anthony Davis has left, James is the go-to man for the Lakers from the mid-range. He leads this team in shot frequency from the mid-range and has cashed in on 46% of his looks.
Chicago resides in the bottom five of the league with a 47.7% field goal percentage allowed on these shots, putting James in the driver's seat in his return. He's averaged nearly 29 points over his last nine games to boot.
Jumping over to the Bulls side of things, Josh Giddey should be the one to take charge offensively for Chicago. The Los Angeles has given up the majority of their looks at the rim, ranking 3rd highest and shot frequency allowed, and have defended the restricted area at the 11th-worst clip.
That should work out well here given the Lakers' ineptitude down low, something that's only going to continue now that Davis has departed for Dallas. With many shooters out as well, Chicago should have no reason not to lean on Giddey and some of its interior scorers to keep pace with a solid Lakers offense.
With James and Doncic both expected to play here, oddsmakers have soured a bit on Austin Reaves. I'm not too concerned, however, given Reaves has done more than enough to cement his role on the team with his performance of late.
We can expect Reaves to handle the ball plenty here, especially as one of this team's top options in the mid-range, and with Chicago a bit vulnerable at the rim in the last few weeks he should find plenty of open men to dish off to.
