We've got a good one in store as we close out a busy Monday night in the NBA as Luka Doncic gets set to make his debut for the Los Angeles Lakers following last week's shocking trade.
Doncic should step right into an offense which will appreciate his playmaking ability as he feeds plenty of wings who can score the ball inside, and while we focus on how he should fare in his first game we'll also discuss a couple of trendy young talents on rhe other side of the floor.
Let's build a same-game parlay for Jazz vs Lakers on Monday, February 10 and lay out a few props that will work well as standalone straight bets as well.

The Lakers have been cooking with Austin Reaves running the point in recent games, but that story is likely coming to an end.
Reaves has averaged nearly seven assists in his last 10 gams, going under six just three times -- and that's a good preview of what's to come with Doncic. He will step into an offense which has taken the sixth-most shots at the rim over the last 10 days, and one which draws a Utah Jazz team which continues to struggle in close on the defensive end.
That means Doncic, a prolific passer who averaged eight assists in December before hitting the shelf with an injury, should be well-suited to rack up helpers here. There are two other ball-handlers on this team, but Reaves should slide over to the two-guard while LeBron James is utilized as more of an inside scorer off the ball to make up for the loss of Davis. I trust Doncic will be the one to set up his teammates here.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
The Jazz are set to welcome Jordan Clarkson back into the lineup here after missing another game over the weekend, but it would simply make no sense for Utah to shy away from giving rookie Isaiah Collier all the run he can handle here.
The key data here lies in the splits with Anthony Davis on and off the floor for the Lakers. He was responsible for a sizable improvement of nearly two percentage points when it comes to field goal defense at the rim, and on top of that L.A.'s numbers against the 3 were much improved.
Collier takes more shots at the rim than you'd expect out of a guard, but has also devastated on corner 3's, where the Lakers have been a stunning 3.6 percentage points worse without Davis.
Between his ability to get the ball into his talented scoring bigs and his proficiency scoring in close, Collier should once again have a night -- and should be a focal point even with Clarkson back.
Finally, we'll have to discuss this Lakers team on the glass without Davis. They've been over two points worse in rebounding rate without the star big on the floor this season, and now that their trade for Mark Williams has been reversed there may be little helping them.
Walker Kessler, like Collier, has been seeing more minutes in wake of injuries, but the other thing that's kept him on the floor was the trade of Drew Eubanks ahead of the trade deadline, something that signaled a vote of confidence in Kessler.
Not much should change here with the Lakers taking a sizable hit on the glass without Davis, and while he's fluctuated in the points column there is now nobody who can match his size and physicality down low on the Lakers' roster. Given the huge swing in field goal defense in close without Davis, we should be in the clear to grab his prop.
