It's always been an occasion when LeBron James comes to Madison Square Garden, and Saturday night should be no different as the New York Knicks put a four-game home winning streak on the line against a red-hot Los Angeles Lakers team.

Let's build a same-game parlay for Lakers vs Knicks on Saturday, February 1 and lay out a few props that will work well as standalone straight bets as well.

Jalen Brunson 27+ Points
Jalen Brunson's 2024-25 season has followed the same arc that we've grown accustomed to over the years. January has always been the month where he begins to take matters into his own hands, and this over the last 31 days he's averaged 27.4 points on 50.7% shooting and 41.1% from deep to put forth his best stanza of the season.
- Brunson took more shots last month, too, up around one per game as he has aimed to put the team on his back -- and the result was a five-game winning streak to close things out.
The Lakers haven't exactly been an easy defense to score on of late, but if there's a spot on the floor it would probably be the long mid-range, where they've ranked 27th for the year. That's where Brunson has taken a good number of his shots, leading this team, and it's also one of two spots -- the other being outside the arc -- where L.A. has given up the most shots in the last two weeks.

Josh Hart 10+ Rebounds
The Lakers have given up the seventh-most rebounds to opposing small forwards this year, and even with a slight uptick in performance on the glass this month they're still going to be around even with the Knicks at best.
- That's why I'm curious as to why we get such a nice price on Josh Hart's rebounds here, considering he'd grabbed 10 or more in three straight games before his minutes shockingly came down in two rather easy wins over the last two games.
Hart, a former Lakers prospect, has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in four of his last six games against L.A., averaging nearly 11 over that span.
After a couple of lighter workloads, Hart should be close to 100% health once again and I expect him to grab plenty of rebounds in a game between two solid defenses.
Max Christie 10+ Points
The Knicks remain a strong defense, and one which has shot up to fourth in the NBA over the last two weeks as thy continue put their foot on the gas and suffocate opponents.
One area which has been a bit tricky for New York, however, is the arc -- where opponents aren't exactly taking a ton of shots but are cashing in at a 37.3% clip over the last two weeks to sit in the bottom third of the league.
- I rarely need a second invitation to bet on Max Christie, who continues to log heavy minutes for the Lakers, and this matchup should be one he enjoys.
Christie's shots are mostly concentrated to the 3-point arc, and in January he finished at 39.2% from downtown to average 11 points per game.
As someone who can score at the rim as well, where the Knicks have allowed the vast majority of their opponents' looks to come, he should find it easy to once again notch double-digits in the scoring column.
