Leading off my NBA parlay predictions is the Knicks' moneyline. Heading into this game, the Knicks are 5.5-point favorites, but the way this series has gone, I'll take the moneyline just to be safe.
As home favorites, the Knicks are 21-17-1 against the spread (55.3%).
The Knicks came away with a narrow and controversial win in Game 4 and beat the Pistons by just two points in Game 3 on the road.
As you may know, Tim Hardaway Jr. was fouled on a 3-point shot by Josh Hart, but it wasn't called.
The officials came out and said they made a mistake.
This has been a tough series to pick against the spread, but I think the Knicks finish things off and get it done.
Over their last three games, the Knicks are averaging 102 points per game, which is eighth-worst in the NBA over that stretch.
Fortunately for them, the Pistons are just one point higher at 103.
This is a far cry from the 115.4 points per game they averaged throughout the season.
It's been a testament to the Pistons' defense. Over the last three games, they've held the Knicks to a 41.9% shooting percentage, which ranks third-best.
That said, they've also allowed them to shoot 37% over the last three games, including 45.5% in Game 4.
Meanwhile, the Knicks have held the Pistons to a 31.2% 3-point shooting percentage over their last three and just 24.1% in Game 4.
I think the Knicks will continue to shoot well, make the most of their 3-point shots, and get it done at home, despite their role players not contributing much.
Cade Cunningham 25+ Points
The next leg for my NBA Same Game Parlay today is Cunningham to have 25 points or more.
In this series, Cunningham has met this mark twice, including 25 in Game 4 and 33 in Game 2.
In the other games, he fell short, scoring 21 in Game 1 and 25 in Game 3.
This season, he's averaging 26.1 points per game, shooting 46.9% from the field, and 35.6% from 3-point range.
He's not had a lot of success shooting the 3-ball in this series, shooting just 4 of 16 (25%).
The Knicks' defense has been strong against 3-point shots, but I think there's something to be said about some positive regression. This is far removed from his usual performance.
This is also a must-win game. I expect Cunningham to be on the floor for the majority of the game and put up a ton of shots to keep the Pistons' season alive.
This season, he's had 25 points or more in 38 of 70 games (54.3%).
Dennis Schroder 10+ Points
Of the best parlay bets today in the NBA for this matchup, one of them is certainly Schroder to have 10 points or more.
His minutes have been consistent throughout this series, but the points have been a bit all over the place.
In Game 1, he had just eight points.
In Games 2 and 3, he had 20 and 18, respectively.
Then, in Game 4, he had six.
He's been on three teams this season, including Brooklyn, Golden State, and now, Detroit.
With Detroit, he's averaging 10.8 points per game.
He's played in 28 games and started eight of them. He's averaging more than 25 minutes per game.
Throughout this series, he's getting playing time.
In Games 2 and 3, he had five and six 3-point shot attempts, respectively. He had just two total between Games 1 and 4, and in Game 4, he didn't attempt a single 3-point shot.
He's one of the players to have success shooting from beyond the arc against the Knicks in this series.
I'll take a chance for him to get going from beyond the arc again and clear this doable line of just 10 points.
Jalen Brunson 30+ Points
Brunson is an absolute superstar, and he's shown up in a big way this series.
He's had 30 points or more in all four games.
His high was 37 in Game 2 and 30 in Game 3.
He's shooting 46% from the floor (46 of 100).
Brunson had 30 points in Game 3 despite shooting just 1 of 7 from 3-point range.
He's shot 33.3% or better from there in the other three games.
Averaging 26 points per game this season, Brunson has had 30 points or more in 22 of 65 games (33.8%), but he's been red hot lately.
I'm not passing this one up.
