On Thursday, May 1, the Detroit Pistons will host the New York Knicks, and this is the best NBA Same Game Parlay today.
Heading into this one, the Knicks are up 3-2 in this series. If they win this game, they'll win the series and take on the Boston Celtics.
However, this has been arguably the best series in all of the playoffs.

Here are the results of the first five games in this series:
As has been the case for most of this series, Isaiah Stewart is on the Pistons' injury report while the Knicks are clean.

Leading off my NBA parlay predictions is the Pistons' moneyline. Heading into this game, the Pistons are 2-point favorites.
This has been a heck of a series and, honestly, incredibly hard to predict.
In Game 5, the Knicks couldn't flip the switch in the second half and get out in front. This led to the Pistons winning by a single 3-point bucket.
For whatever reason, the Pistons have had a lot of success in the Knicks place. They're 2-0 in the regular season and 2-1 in this series.
At the same time, the Knicks are 6-8 on the road as an underdog.
However, I'm taking the Pistons in this one because I believe they should be up 3-2 in this series.
In Game 4, the officials missed a call that should have resulted in the Pistons going to the free-throw line with three shots. Instead, the game just ended.
The Pistons got some contributions from unexpected places, like Ausar Thompson with 22 points.
The Knicks have been able to look toward Jalen Brunson for a consistently high level of production, but that somewhat dipped in Game 5 with 16 points.
Despite that, the players around him didn't really make up for it. Yes, six players (including Brunson) had double-digit points, but none of them had more than 19.
Meanwhile, Brunson has had 30 or more in every game in the series before Game 5.
As for the Pistons, Cade Cunningham has been consistent, and various players are stepping up throughout this series. One of those is Jalen Duren, who crashes the boards unlike any other, including 14 in Game 5.
At home, I just think the Pistons do enough to get by and force a Game 7.
Once again, this could, like two of the last three games, come down to a single bucket.
With that in mind, I'm certainly going the safe route with the rest of these legs.
The next leg for my NBA Same Game Parlay today is for Cunningham to have 20 points or more.
In Game 5, I picked him to have 25 or more. He finished with 24.
He's averaging 26.1 points per game.
Cunningham didn't have a lot of success from beyond the arc in this series heading into Game 5, and that continued. He shot just 1 of 4 from 3-point range.
Remember, he typically shoots 35.6% from 3-point range.
The Knicks continue to be strong against the 3-ball in this series. The Pistons shot just 27.6% from beyond the arc in Game 5.
One of the best parlay bets today in the NBA for this Game 6 is Thompson's point total at 8 or more.
He had 22 in Game 5, which was by far the most points he's had in any game this series.
During the regular season, he never had more than 19.
He's had 8 points or more in 42 of 59 games (71.2%).
In Game 5, he shot 8 of 10 from the floor.
He doesn't shoot many 3-point shots at all. He attempts just 0.8 per game and shoots 22.4% from there.
Before Game 5, he had seven shots or more in three of four games.
He's finished with 8 points or more in three of five games. He had 7 points in Game 3 on just 2 of 3 shooting.
This season, he's averaging 10.1 points per game. I think 8 points is doable and a safe leg.
If the Pistons win this series, they need to thank Duren.
In this series, he's had 10 rebounds or more in three of five games. He had 6 boards in Game 1 and 8 boards in Game 3.
He's had a high of 17 (Game 4).
In Game 5, as mentioned, he had 14.
This season, Duren is averaging 10.3 rebounds per game. He's had 10 or more in 46 of 78 games (59%).
He's also playing a bunch. Since Game 1, he's played 32 minutes or more in each game.
