NBA Same Game Parlay Picks Today for Lakers vs Rockets: Rui Hachimura Headlines My +350 SGP for March 31

Publish Date: Mar 31, 2025
Fact checked by: Sara Jane Gamelli

On Monday, March 31, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Houston Rockets, and this is the best NBA Same Game Parlay today.

Heading into this one, the Rockets are 9-1 in their last 10 games and have won their last three, beating Phoenix, Utah, and Atlanta.

The Lakers are 5-5 over their last 10 games. They’re coming off a 134-127 win over Memphis. Before that, they lost four of their last five to Milwaukee, Chicago, Orlando, and Chicago again.

The Rockets are the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, 49-26, while the Lakers are the No. 4 seed, 45-29. The Rockets hold a 3.5-game lead over the Lakers.

As for the injury report, the Lakers will be without Maxi Kleber as he battles a foot injury. On the Rockets side, it appears Tari Eason will miss today’s outing due to rest.

Below, you’ll find my NBA Same Game Parlay picks today for this game with odds of +350.

Lakers ML

Leading off my NBA parlay predictions is the Lakers moneyline. Yes, they’re 5-5 in their last 10, while the Rockets are 9-1, but the Lakers have been excellent at home this season with a record of 28-9.

The Lakers are facing a Rockets team that’s 7-9 this season when coming off no rest.

Over their last three games, the Lakers are averaging 123.7 points per game. At home this season, they’re at 114.6.

The Rockets are averaging 115.1 points per game on the road.

Here’s another interesting statistic: Coming off a win, the Lakers have won each of their last 10 games when facing a Western Conference opponent.

The Lakers played on Saturday but had Sunday off. When they get a day of rest, they’re 30-17 this season.

The Lakers are favored in this game, but I’m not willing to take them at -4.5. Although relatively healthy, this team has given up a lot of points lately (121.7 per game over their last three).

I’m expecting a close game, but I’ll side with the Lakers home trends here and take them as the moneyline as one of my four Same Game Parlay legs.

A win for the Lakers will inch them closer to the No. 3 or perhaps even the Rockets’ No. 2 seed.

Over 224.5

The next leg for my NBA Same Game Parlay today is the over at 225.5.

With this score and a 4.5-point spread favoring the Lakers, the implied final score is approximately 115-110.

Given how both teams have performed recently, this total feels far too low.

Over the last three games, both teams are top seven in points scored per game. The Rockets are second at 130.0, and the Lakers are tied for seventh at 123.7.

The Rockets put up 148 in their last game, while the Lakers put up 134.

Shooting-wise, both teams are shooting 49.5% or better from the floor over their last three games.

From beyond the arc, they’re both shooting just under 40%, with Houston coming in at 38.3% and the Lakers at 39.3% over their last three games.

As for the amount of points they’re allowing over their last three games, the Lakers have the lead there at 121.7 points to the Rockets’ 111.0.

Both teams have also allowed a shooting percentage of 47.6% or higher in that same span, with the Lakers coming in at 50%. The Lakers have also allowed a 3-point shooting percentage of 42.9%.

These are also two teams that are in the top 11 in possessions per game over their last three games.

Bottom line: Both teams have the ball a lot, the Lakers are highly productive at home, but their defense recently has allowed ample production lately and will face one of the better teams in the NBA.

Rui Hachimura 15+ Points + Rebounds

Of the best parlay bets today in the NBA for this matchup, one of them includes a combo prop of Rui Hachimura at 15+ points and rebounds.

Hachimura was recently dealing with an injury that kept him out most of March.

In his first two games back, he had just five points in each, but since then, he’s had back-to-back games with 13 or more.

He also played 28 minutes in each game. In their win over Memphis on Saturday, he had 13 points and three rebounds. In the game before that, a win over Indiana, he had 14 points and four rebounds.

Hachimura averages 4.1 3-point attempts per game and is a 41.8% 3-point shooter.

The Rockets have been relatively stiff against the 3-point shot lately (opponents are shooting just 34.6% over their last three games), but Hachimura has been red-shot, making seven of his last nine.

That said, even if he needs to resort to 2-point shots, that’s fine, too. He makes 57.4% of his 2-point baskets.

This is where Houston can be beat. They’re allowing opponents to shoot 55.8% from 2-point range over their last three games.

On top of this, he averages 5.1 rebounds per game.
