NBA Same Game Parlay Picks Today for Knicks vs Pacers: Tyrese Haliburton Headlines My +234 SGP for May 29

Publish Date: May 29, 2025
Fact checked by: Sara Jane Gamelli

On Thursday, May 29, the New York Knicks will host the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and this is the best NBA Same Game Parlay today.

Up 3-1, if the Pacers can clinch the series tonight, they'll take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals. They clinched their series last night, beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-94.

In Game 4 of this series, the Pacers got the first home win of the Eastern Conference Finals, beating the Knicks 130-121.

Now, it's "do or die" for the Knicks.

The injury report is fairly clean, but there is one massive name: Karl-Anthony Towns is listed as questionable with a knee injury. It remains to be seen if he'll suit up.

That said, below, you’ll find my NBA Same Game Parlay picks today for this game with odds of +234.

Pacers +4

The Pacers' point spread of +4 leads off my NBA parlay predictions.

In Game 4, Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton got off to a hot start and set the tone for Indiana. The Pacers put up 43 points in the first quarter and held a 69-64 lead at halftime.

When it was all said and done, Haliburton recorded a triple-double with 32 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds.

Haliburton wasn't the only one to record double-digit points, though, as Bennedict Mathurin (20), Myles Turner (13), Aaron Nesmith (16), and Pascal Siakam (30) also did.

The Pacers' offense continued to play well, shooting 51.1% from the floor and 40.6% from beyond the arc (13 of 32).

They also handled the Knicks in the paint, outscoring them 50-44.

As mentioned, the Pacers put up 43 points in the first quarter, and from there, the Knicks could really never get out from under the deficit.

That said, they played fairly well. They shot 46.3% from the floor, 42.9% from 3-point range, and outrebounded the Pacers.

In addition to the early deficit, they also had 17 turnovers compared to the Pacers' 11.

The Knicks also got double-digit point contributions from numerous sources, including Jalen Brunson (31), Karl-Anthony Towns (24), OG Anunoby (22), Mikal Bridges (17), and Josh Hart (12).

Now, in Game 5, the Knicks are favored. I can understand why; they're at home and the series is on the line.

That said, the Pacers have won both games played in New York, averaging 119.5 points per game in regulation.

Now, you add in Towns being listed as questionable; that only adds to the Pacers' chances.

As home favorites, the Knicks are 22-20-1 whereas the Pacers are 18-10 as road underdogs against the spread.

I think this series could be over, but to be safe, I'll take the four points.

Andrew Nembhard 1+ Three Pointers Made

The next leg of my NBA Same Game Parlay today is for Nembhard to make at least one 3-point shot.

During this series, Nembhard has made at least one in three of the four games.

He fell short in Game 3, but he also had a poor outing completely, shooting 2 of 9 from the floor, including 0 of 3 from 3-point range. That was the 106-100 loss.

Other than that, he's 5 of 10 from beyond the arc (50%).

He's certainly shooting a bit above his weight class, as this season he's averaging 0.8 makes on 2.7 attempts (29.1%) per game.

Looking over the course of this postseason, though, he's made at least one in 11 of 14 games.

Tyrese Haliburton 8+ Assists

The next leg of my NBA Same Game Parlay today is for Haliburton to have 8+ assists.

His over/under line is up to 9.5 and understandably so after recording 15 in Game 4.

However, I'll take the hit on the juice and lower the bar a bit.

Throughout this series, he's had eight assists or more in three of the four games.

He had 11 in Games 1 and 2, seven in Game 3, and then 15 in Game 4.

Over these four games, Haliburton is averaging 18 potential assists per game.

In Game 4, those passes simply led to many shots falling as the team shot above 50% from the floor. It's hard to always rely on that, but he's moving the ball around plenty, and the opportunities are there.

The Pacers aren't as uptempo in this series as they normally are, but they do move the ball around a lot, and Haliburton is at the forefront.

I think eight is more than doable.

Jalen Brunson 5+ Assists

Sticking with assists here, I like Brunson to have five or more.

In this series, he's averaging 10.5 potential assists per game, which leads the Knicks.

He's had five assists or more in three of the four games, including 11 in Game 2.

Brunson is massively relied upon as a scoring option, but he does have some great players around him to sink shots off his passes.

I'm sticking with five, too, because I'm also unsure if Towns will play, and if he does, how effective he will be.

Still, five is more than doable for Brunson regardless of Towns playing or not.
