Valentine’s Day is about love, and with the college basketball games on deck for Saturday, schedulers must love us. We’ve got some great games on deck, but which ones should you bet on? I can’t tell you that, but I have some ideas for you in my NCAA Basketball Best Bets list for Feb. 14.

With so many exciting matchups, I’ll be including best bets and parlays in this post in order to give coverage to as many games as possible in an article of reasonable length. So, let’s get right to it and talk about some college basketball bets.
TCU ended Iowa State’s win streak at five games when the Horned Frogs defeated the Cyclones 62-55. Late in the game, it looked like it was Iowa State’s to lose, which they did, as TCU scored the final 12 points to win by seven and hand Iowa State its third loss of the season.
Kansas should be bursting with confidence coming into this game, as they are riding an eight-game win streak that includes victories over No. 1 Arizona, No. 13 Texas Tech, No. 13 BYU, and No. 2 Iowa State (which Kansas won by 21 points at home).
Based on recent play, I have to lean towards Kansas. Not that Iowa State has played poorly, but Kansas has played really well and beaten several of the best teams in the nation, including No. 1 Arizona.
I’m not putting a ton of stock in the Jayhawks' 21-point win over Iowa State because the Cyclones had an uncharacteristically bad first half, and they cleaned things up in the second half. That tells me this game should be a close one and that Iowa State could win. But if they do, it will not be by more than six.

Florida isn’t just coming in hot; the Gators are coming into this game scorching hot. Since their last loss, 76-67 to Auburn, they have been on a tear. They didn’t just win their next four games; they demolished their opponents, winning by 47, 23 (vs. a ranked Alabama team), 19, and 20 points.
However, Kentucky has been playing well in its own right, winning eight of its last nine games, including three over ranked squads. Yes, they played poorly in the first half of their last outing against Tennessee (Feb. 7), but they got it together in the second half, overcame their mistakes, and won by three (74-71).
There is no denying that Florida is a good team, but their recent dominance wasn’t exactly against the best teams the SEC has to offer. Alabama, Texas A&M, and Georgia are good, but Kentucky is better. The Wildcats can’t make the mistakes they made against Tennessee in the first half and be competitive in this game.
But if they play as they did in the second half of that game, they will keep this one interesting (and within 12 points).
Louisville is the better team of the two, but the Bears have been competitive against ranked teams of late, losing by three to No. 7 Iowa State and by five to No. 22 BYU. In both games, they played solid perimeter defense and gave up three and six three-pointers.
If they can keep the Cardinals from going off from three-point range, they’ll keep this one within six points.
Neither team has played well in conference play: Colorado is 4-8, BYU is 6-5, and neither has been playing well of late (BYU—1-4 in the last five; Colorado—2-7 in the last nine). But BYU will get its offense back on track against a lackluster Colorado defense that struggles on the road.
BYU is 1-6 outright and ATS in road games this season and 0-4 vs. ranked squads.
There is no doubt about one thing related to this game: Houston is the better team by far and should win this game easily as long as they don’t give it away. However, they are 4-3 ATS in games where they were favored by 20+ points. Because of that, I see the UNDER as the better bet for this game.
The UNDER is 10-6 for Houston at home and 4-4 for K-State on the road.
