The Steelers (and the rest of the AFC North) get a break by facing the weak NFC South. But they also draw road games against New England, Philadelphia, and Jacksonville, all playoff teams a year ago.

• The Steelers haven't had a losing record against their own division since 2009. That means at least 3-4 wins are probably guaranteed from that portion of the schedule.
• The Steelers' schedule ranks 17th among 32 teams in terms of toughness, based on 2025 NFL win percentages for opponents.
• Pittsburgh (which made the 2025 NFL playoffs) will play four of the other six teams that made the AFC playoffs a year ago. They will also play two NFC playoff teams: the Eagles and Panthers.
