Unrivaled is back in Miami, and there is a doubleheader tonight. First, let's focus on the Phantom BC vs. Lunar Owls BC matchup.

In the first matchup of two evening games, Phantom BC (5-3) will square off against Lunar Owls BC (2-6).
Unrivaled, a women's professional three-on-three basketball league, was co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. Offering athletes a unique opportunity to play stateside during the offseason, the league is mainly stationed in Miami.
That was until Unrivaled made its first tour in Philadelphia on Friday night, shattering an all-time attendance record for a professional women's basketball regular-season game with 21,490 fans. Not to mention that number set a new high for any event in Xfinity Mobile Arena history. That includes the Backstreet Boys' 1999 tour stop and Michael Jordan's final game as a Chicago Bull in the city in 1998!

In case you missed it, I swept and went a perfect 2-0 in Saturday's Unrivaled picks. Not to mention, I finished the month of January +50 units. If you wish to track my bets, my picks can be found on the Ballislife website, Ballislife Discord, and the Pikkit App (@SaraJaneGamelli).
Tonight features two popular teams that made their Philadelphia debut on Friday. That said, Phantom BC has the third-best odds on DraftKings (+475) to win the 2026 Unrivaled Championship. Following a slow start, Lunar Owls BC holds the second-longest odds (+3500) to win it all.
Let's take a look at my best bets, betting odds, and predictions for the Unrivaled matchup featuring Phantom BC and Lunar Owls BC on Sunday, Feb. 1. I've placed all of my bets within DraftKings Sportsbook.
MONEYLINE
SPREAD
OVER/UNDER (TOTAL)
My best bet for Sunday, I placed one unit on Phantom BC to win outright against Lunar Owls BC. Sure, I know the moneyline is a tad juiced at -180 on DraftKings, but there's still value there.
There's good news on the horizon for Phantom BC—guard Dana Evans is off the injury report. Having missed the entire season so far, perhaps she will make her Unrivaled season debut tonight.
5-3 on the season, Phantom BC has won three of their last four outings, including an exhilarating 71–68 victory over Breeze BC in Philadelphia. Thanks to another Kelsey Plum game-winner, this team is gelling at the right time.
There were questions surrounding this team after it was announced that Satou Sabally would miss the season following a concussion sustained in the WNBA Finals. Questions have eased, given that the Phantom has shown a perfect mix of size, speed, and pace. Not only has Kelsey Plum proven she's tailor-made for three-on-three basketball, but we've seen Kiki Iriafen thrive in this setting. Not to mention, Aliyah Boston gives this team the edge by expanding her game beyond the arc.
Phantom doesn't lead Unrivaled in any major statistical category, but they boast a +43 point differential. One of the most efficient teams on the offensive end, this is a club that puts up 73.6 points per game. That said, Phantom BC shoots at a high level–48.2% from the field, and 35.8% from beyond the arc.
At 2-6, some would say the Lunar Owls' record doesn't reflect the talent, and I partially agree with this. Not only did the club lose Napheesa Collier for the season, but Skylar Diggins also missed the first three games of the season.
Of course, we have to give Lunar Owls wing Marina Mabrey her flowers. Not only did she score a league-record 47 points against Rose on Friday, but she also single-handedly fired up the crowd at Xfinity Mobile Arena. And she's certainly in MVP talks, given that she's averaging 28.1 points in eight games. In addition, Mabrey is shooting 45% from the field and 35.9% from three. In eight games, she's scored 25+ points in five of them.
Lunar Owls forward Aaliyah Edwards is averaging 21.4 points per game and leads Unrivaled with 13 rebounds per game. Together, Mabrey and Edwards combine for 49.5 points per game and nearly 72% of the total offense. Outside of them, Lunar Owls have shifted gears from last season, averaging just 68.9 points per game. With personal fouls a struggle (16 per game), this team has yet to find its true stride.
I personally need to see this team gather a victory without Mabrey's 10 3-pointers. While she's been on a heater, will she have a repeat performance of Friday night? Most likely not. Skylar Diggins' return has been crucial, as she's averaging 14.8 points and 17 assists across five games. Even so, she's started just one of them.
The main question remains: Will Edwards play tonight? She is listed as questionable. If so, this club loses size, but Temi Fágbénlé filled in nicely against Rose BC on Friday. Recording 15 points and 12 rebounds, Fágbénlé was crucial in the absence of Edwards.
It's hard to grasp the rest of the team's performance when Mabrey scored more than half of the team's points on Friday. However, I believe this team lacks a true point guard, and matching up against Plum won't be easy. Additionally, both Rachel Banham and Rebecca Allen are sharpshooters who can strike at any time, but it hasn't translated on the court.
Allen has scored just seven points over the last three games, averaging just 4.6 on the season. Shooting just 22.9% from beyond the arc, the story has been the same with Banham. Averaging just 3.3 points per game, the Lunar Owls guard has yet to score more than six points this season.
I believe this game will be competitive, especially if Edwards can play. Moreover, oddsmakers are predicting a close one. Given that Phantom is favored by just 3.5 points, Lunar Owls have proven that they can hang.
Overall, the Lunar Owls have been one of the least efficient teams on both ends of the court, and defense is a concern. Sure, Edwards, Diggins, and Mabrey are a scary three-headed monster. However, is it enough to combat a well-balanced Phantom team? Even though Lunar Owls are showing signs of life, their bench productivity is concerning.
Phantom BC last defeated Lunar Owls BC 94–60 on Jan. 10 in which Kelsey Plum scored a season-best 38 points. Enduring their biggest loss of the season, the Lunar Owls were without Diggins. Having shot 37.3% from the field and 30% from beyond the arc, the offense was absolutely abysmal.
On the other side of the coin, four players scored points in double figures, and Dana Evans was still inactive for Phantom. Against the Lunar Owls, they shot 64.9% from the floor and 54.2% from beyond the arc.
