Four consecutive nights of basketball, from Friday through Monday, will be aired on TNT, truTV, and HBO Max. In 2024, Unrivaled announced a six-year media rights broadcast deal with TNT Sports. Talk about visibility—this is what women's sports have lacked for so long.
For those who don't know, the 3-on-3 women's professional league was created by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart in 2023. After debuting in 2024, the league provides an alternative source of income and opportunity to stay stateside during the WNBA offseason. While several women have opted to play overseas in the past, Unrivaled offers competitive salaries, state-of-the-art amenities, multiple practice courts, private entrances, chefs, and more.
Rose BC won the inaugural championship, and there have been several positive changes to the league this season. The league expanded to eight teams, adding Breeze and Hive BC. While its home base is Miami for nine weeks, the league will travel to Philadelphia for matchups in late January.
Unrivaled featured a fast-paced style of basketball on a court measuring 72 by 49.2 feet. The league features three seven-minute quarters, while the fourth quarter utilizes a target score. The first team to reach that final score wins. With only six players on the court at once, fatigue can set in, and defensive players can be exposed. That's the challenge, yet thrill when betting on a league like Unrivaled!
Sorry bettors, there's no overtime in this league.

Unrivaled made its first tour stop in Philadelphia last night, drawing a record 21,490 attendees. Setting an all-time record for a women's professional basketball game, the game set a record for the all-time attendance at Xfinity Mobile Arena. That includes previous marks set by the Backstreet Boys and Michael Jordan's last game as a Bull in Philly.
While Paige Bueckers, Breeze, and Phantom put on a show, it was Marina Mabrey who led the Lunar Owls to an 85-75 victory over Rose BC. Setting the record for 47 points, Mabrey exploded for 10 3-pointers and delivered the performance of a lifetime.
Unrivaled thrived in its first-ever expansion game, and although the league heads back to Miami, there are talks of future expansion outside of South Beach.
If you're betting on Unrivaled, welcome! Hive BC and Mist BC will square off at 4:30 p.m. ET, and Laces BC and Vinyl BC will match up at 5:45 p.m. ET. Saturday's doubleheader will be broadcast on truTV and HBO Max.
Let's take a look at my best bets, top picks, and predictions for the Saturday, Jan. 31 Unrivaled matchups!
My first best bet for today, I placed one unit on Mist BC to cover the 8.5-point spread vs. Hive BC.
I normally don't take large spreads, but in this case, losing Ezi Magbegor for Hive BC is crucial. Monique Billings will have to handle the frontcourt duties, and she ranks in the top five in rebounds per game (9 RPG). Without Magbegor, Hive loses much-needed rim protection and size.
Magbegor may only average 9.1 points per game, but her presence will be felt against a strong 5-2 Mist BC team. Headlined by Breanna Stewart and Alanna Smith in the frontcourt, it's safe to say they are one of the strongest teams on the glass (34.1 RPG).
Mist has the second-highest odds (+370) to win the 2026 Unrivaled championship on DraftKings. To me, this is one of the most balanced teams, powerful on offense and leading the league in scoring. (74.9 PPG). Boasting a +33 point differential, this team has the perfect blend of space, size, and 3-level scorers.
It all starts with Mist BC Guard Allisha Gray, who has entered the MVP conversation. Third in points per game (24.3 PPG), Gray is shooting 37% from beyond the arc, averaging 7.7 3-point attempts per game. A true 3-level scorer, Gray is a threat from anywhere on the court. Hence, she has previous 3x3 Olympic experience.
Mist has a formidable three-headed monster: Gray, Veronica Burton, and Arike Ogunbowale in the backcourt. I personally feel that they match up well with Kelsey Mitchell, Sonia Citron, and even Natisha Hiedeman. The difference here is the size and defense. That said, Saniya Rivers has been an elite defensive presence for Hive BC.
Hive holds a -74 point differential, and I do think Gray, Burton, and Ogunbowale can expose players on the offensive end. Not to mention, Mist should feast inside today.
I'm rooting for Hive BC, which notched its first win of the season against the Lunar Owls. However, Mist is the superior team top to bottom and has the advantage defensively, along with a loaded offense full of shooters. At times, Hive's offense can look stagnant. Ranking last in scoring (63.9 PPG), Hive is also one of the least efficient teams on the glass (29.8 RPG).
My second-best bet for today, I placed one unit on Vinyl BC to cover the 6.5-point spread as underdogs against Laces BC.
With a 6-1 record, Laces BC are the favorites on DraftKings to win the Unrivaled Championship (+275). Similar to last season, they have a stacked roster that includes Alyssa Thomas, Jackie Young, Brittney Sykes, Jordin Canada, Maddy Siegrist, and Naz Hillmon.
Led by head coach Andrew Wade, this is a guard-heavy club that is extremely versatile. With AT at the helm, they don't call her the engine for nothing. Bulldozing through defenders, we saw how AT ran through Paige Bueckers last game. And multiple times we've seen Sykes rise to the occasion.
Boasting a league-best +58 point differential, Laces are a top team on both ends of the court, but let's not sleep on Vinyl.
I can see why sportsbooks priced Vinyl BC as massive underdogs after losing three straight and having a 2-5 record. One of the more efficient teams offensively, the level of talent doesn't reflect the record.
Although the wins aren't adding up, the Vinyl have come a long way since their 58-42 opening night loss against the Laces. Having lost to Mist by just five points, am I really going to give Laces the full 6.5 points here?
Vinyl has figured out a plan to incorporate Erica Wheeler, who was the x-factor with 16 points off the bench last game. While the offense does stall at times, Courtney Williams mid-range and Rae Burrell's athleticism are essential to this club.
We already know Dearica Hamby can hold her own and run pick-and-rolls all day, and Rhyne Howard can find her spots from beyond the arc. In this case, the offensive energy must match the defense. That said, while Brittney Griner is receiving more playing time, the pace of three-on-three basketball doesn't always cater to her style.
