Fresh off their WNBA Commissioners Cup victory earlier this week, the Minnesota Lynx looks to sustain their winning momentum when it takes on the struggling Dallas Wings at College Park Center this Thursday, June 27, 2024.
They will be taking on a Wings squad that is on dire straits and is seeking their first victory since May 27.
After scoring back-to-back victories against the Phoenix Mercury and the Los Angeles Sparks last month, the Dallas Wings have found themselves on the back of 11 consecutive losses, which included an embarrassing 28-point defeat to fellow cellar-dwellers Washington Mystics.
Will the Wings finally break free from the losing spell and pick their first win in a month? Or will the Lynx continue their winning ways and secure their eighth straight victory?
Plenty of questions are up in the air but here’s how the Dallas Wings vs. Minnesota Lynx odds look like as of press time.

Minnesota Lynx Injury Report
There is little to nothing to celebrate in Dallas with the Wings riding an 11-game losing skid. But one thing that could appeal to punters is the decent ATS record of the Wings when bookmakers have them as underdogs.
If that’s not good enough, Dallas is also excellent in defense, ranking third in rebounds and fourth in blocks.
But for everything to translate into the court, the Wings will need to work together and hope that sweet-shooting guard Arike Ogunbowale and Natasha Howard both have excellent scoring nights.
The 27-year old Ogunbowale is currently second in the league in scoring, averaging 23.9 points to go along with 4.7 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game while Howard has been superb since her return, pouring in 18.3 points per game.
In their most recent game against the Mystics, the 32-year old Florida State product was special, dropping a monster 26-point and eight-rebound effort.
If Ogunbowale and Howard can continue their offensive prowess, the Wings have a good chance of covering the spread against a mighty Lynx squad that is currently in high spirits after winning their first WNBA Commissioner's Cup title.
Besides Ogunbowale and Howard, Dallas will also need some contributions from their frontcourt players such as 27-year old center Teaira McCowan and versatile forward Monique Billings, who currently ranks seventh in the league in rebounds at 8.9 rebounds per game.
The Minnesota Lynx are in cloud nine right now. They just won their first WNBA Commissioners Cup title. They have won 14 of their 17 games this season and are currently the best team in the league.
Confidence is high for the Lynx and what way to continue their winning momentum than take on the worst team in the league – a team they have already beaten this season.
Earlier this month, the Lynx displayed their supremacy when it dominated the Wings 90-78 at home.
The trio is expected to carry the offensive load again as they take on a Wings team that will be without Maddy Siegrist who is sitting this game out with a left index finger injury.
But one thing the Lynx should be wary of is the Wings’ ability to shoot the lights out.
As mentioned, the Lynx are among the best teams in the league when it comes to field goal percentage.
That said, Minnesota will most likely need to tighten their defensive screws to prevent Dallas from going hot or else it could be a long night for the league leaders.
The Minnesota Lynx are just a different team right now. Look for them to continue their winning streak by beating the Dallas Wings in dominant fashion.
Going for the Over 162.5 is another play I would consider, especially at the rate that the Wings and Lynx are shooting the ball. The Lynx and Wings are both within the top five in the league when it comes to field goal shooting percentage.
