WNBA Commissioner's Cup games have concluded, and the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty will compete for the Cup trophy.
Today, Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream (9-4, 5-2 away) face Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (9-5, 6-2 home). Indiana got the best of Atlanta, 83-71, in the first matchup of the season, and will get another shot at a victory at home today. Winners of three straight, the Fever are on the right track and enter as slim underdogs. Similarly, the Dream have won three of their last four games, including a 102-77 recent victory over the Toronto Tempo.
Just a half-game back of Atlanta for the No. 2 seed, the Fever will look to extend their winning streak at home. Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark will square off again on primetime television.

Here are my best bets, betting odds, and player prop predictions for the WNBA games today on June 18.
Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook
For my first bet today, I locked in Fever star Caitlin Clark to record over 8.5 assists today. This player prop line is fairly assessed as it aligns with her 8.3 assists per game average.
Aside from Chelsea Gray and Olivia Miles, Clark is one of the most elite passers in the WNBA. In the half-court or in transition, Clark scans the floor and looks for the back-door cut or open teammate.
Clark ranks second in assists behind Alyssa Thomas. Additionally, she ranked fifth on the first set of WNBA All-Star fan votes and now has a crucial matchup with the Dream today.
The Dream ranks No. 2 in defensive rating (101.8), and shots won't come easily for Clark. In their last matchup, she finished with 17 points in 6-of-17 shooting and 2-of-8 from beyond the arc in 31 minutes. I'd rather not touch the points, so let's lock in assists.
Clark dished out 8 assists in the last matchup against Atlanta, and mind you, the Fever shot 11-of-25 (44%) from deep and 30-of-63 (48%) from the floor. Kelsey Mitchell erupted for 25 points, along with Aliyah Boston, who scored 19.
The Fever loves to push the pace and leads the WNBA in that category (99.54). This is where Clark can get dangerous. In the last game, we saw her dribble until she found teammates, such as Lexie Hull. Other times, it was high-low, inside-outside passes. Her court vision is so elite that she timed backdoor cuts with Mitchell on the inbound perfectly.
Likely to be guarded primarily by Rhyne Howard, it will force Clark to move the ball. Where the Fever will get some momentum, like last game, is on the fast breaks.
Clark is healthy and is starting to warm up. She's fresh off 14 assists against Toronto and has recorded 29 over the past three games. I know the Sun and Sky aren't the best of teams, but she's recorded 10+ assists in two of the last three games.
The Fever have a 5-2 record when Clark dishes out nine assists, and 35 of them have gone to Aliyah Boston.Β Additionally, Clark has assisted 26 dimes to Mitchell and 12 to Sophie Cunningham.
Her assists largely depend on the success of Boston and Mitchell. Luckily for Clark, Boston is coming off a 34-point outing last week, is averaging 18.5 points in June, and is shooting 8-of-16 (50%) from beyond the arc this month.
A three-level scorer, Mitchell is a consistent, high-volume scorer. Fresh off a 27-point performance, she's scored 19+ points in five of six games this month.
Overall, there's a reason why the Fever average 21.3 assists per game. Yes, the Dream typically shut down passing lanes, allowing just 19.2 dimes per game. However, they just allowed six assists to Tempo's Julie Allemand and five to Liberty's Pauline Astier. Not to mention, Olivia Miles dished out eight assists when she was in town.
In the last game against Atlanta, Clark boasted a 47.1% assist rate, and she's putting up the highest assist rate of her WNBA career (45.2%). Plus, she boasts a 30.8% usage rate. I'm not worried about the minutes.
For my second-best bet, I'm taking Fever center Aliyah Boston to tally 12+ rebounds and assists.
I love both the prop line and the value in this pick. I found this for +100 on DraftKings. Here's why you should lock it in.
Against the Dream on June 4, Boston erupted for 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. She has a decent matchup against Angel Reese, but lately, she's been a killer on the boards and monstrous in the playmaking department.
Boston has tallied 10+ rebounds in four straight games, averaging 11 rebounds over that span. We've seen her deliver back-to-back 11-rebound performances alone against the Tempo and Sun. Plus, she delivered double-digit rebounds against a strong Sky and Mystics frontcourt.
I'm taking Boston here, especially since she hasn't dipped below 9 rebounds since June 4. Brionna Jones remains out for the Dream, although Atlanta hasn't been forgiving to centers (6.8 rebounds per game).
It's hard to fade this when Boston's been averaging 10.6 rebounds over the last five games. We did see Jonquel Jones (Liberty) erupt for 10 boards against the Dream, and the Fever do boast the highest rebounding rate in the WNBA (54.7%).
We have to remember that Boston grabbed seven rebounds in 31 minutes against Atlanta, but she stayed in foul trouble (5). Lately, she's been a great facilitator, especially when she draws two. Although averaging just under three assists per game (2.8), Boston has nine in the last two games and 12 in the last three games.
I truly feel this prop is a gem. Boston is averaging 13.8 rebounds and assists over the last four games and hasn't fallen under that line. I do think this line is low, so grab it while you can. Falling just short of this line (9) in the last matchup against the Dream, Atlanta allows the third-most assists to centers (3.2) this season.
For my third-best bet, I locked in the Indiana Fever to cover the +1.5-point spread. It's hard to believe Indiana is an underdog tonight. That's especially since they (1) have a home matchup, (2) defeated the Dream 83-71 on June 4, and are riding a four-game win streak.
Both teams are top-tier, there's no denying that.
As I mentioned previously, the Dream owns the second-best defensive rating (101.8) in the WNBA, along with a +8.2 NET rating. That's not far off from Indiana's +5.9 NET rating.
Let's take it a bit further. The Fever have owned the WNBA's fourth-best offensive (113.7) and defensive rating (101.8) over their four-game win streak. In that span, they more than covered back-to-back 8.5-point spreads against the Tempo and Sun. They boast a 7-7 ATS record, and Indiana is 4-4 ATS at home and 1-1 ATS as an underdog.
The Fever have shown they can cover against top teams. That included a 2.5-point spread against the Valkyries as underdogs and also covered them as 5.5-point favorites. Plus, the Fever are 4-3 ATS against teams that are above .500.
Atlanta is high up in the standings, yes, but I worry about the stagnant offense at times. They haven't been efficient against top teams against the spread this year. For example, they are 3-4 ATS against teams above .500, and they've covered against teams such as Connecticut, Washington, Portland, and Toronto.
However, they beat Minnesota, but failed to cover. Additionally, they played the Lynx again and lost by 15 points. Furthermore, the Fever trounced the Dream by 12 points earlier this month.
The Dream have been winning games, but just haven't been great in covering the spread. They are 0-2 ATS and winless against the Liberty and Fever, which is concerning heading into today's matchup. Sure, they are coming off a massive win against Toronto, but I wasn't so convinced when the Liberty beat them by 14 points.
Overall, the Dream has a 2-3 ATS record over the last five games, and they put up just 71 points against Indiana in their last matchup. In that game, Atlanta shot just 34% from the field, 29% from the three, and 79% from the line with 19 fouls and 11 turnovers.
Bonus Bet: Jordin Canada OVER 9.5 Rebounds + Assists
