WNBA Best Bets for June 13: Player Props, Odds & Predictions for A'ja Wilson and Jackie Young

Publish Date: Jun 12, 2026
Fact checked by: Sara Jane Gamelli
Key Points
  • Las Vegas Aces superstar Jackie Young is scoring 17.0 points per home game this year
  • Reigning MVP A'ja Wilson has averaged 18.0 points per home game against the Minnesota Lynx during her career
  • Minnesota Lynx sharpshooter Kayla McBride has made two or more 3-pointers in 10 of her 18 games against the Las Vegas Aces

There are four WNBA games on Saturday, each with its own intriguing storyline. Yes, that even means the Indiana Fever visiting the fledgling Connecticut Sun. The Fever arrive after a wild overtime win over the Chicago Sky and now play a one-off road game. I have to wonder if they're looking past the Sun.

The spotlight game is the Minnesota Lynx's visit to Las Vegas to challenge the defending champion Aces in an ever-important Commissioner's Cup game. The Dallas Wings arrive in Portland to face an upset-minded Fire squad that could be angry after being thumped by the Aces on Thursday. For the nightcap, the Phoenix Mercury and Los Angeles Sparks are jockeying for playoff position.

WNBA Best Bets: Saturday's Top Player Props

The Lynx and Aces are both 4-0 in Commissioner's Cup play, and it could be this primetime game that decides who will represent the Western Conference in the title game. The Aces' remaining two Cup games are in Dallas and Phoenix, while the Lynx conceivably have it easier in hosting the Fire before visiting the Sparks.

Then again, there are no easy games in the WNBA. And this will be the toughest matchup for both Minnesota and Las Vegas to date.

(Odds via FanDuel)

A'ja Wilson UNDER 25.5 points (-104)

Though I stand firm that we're talking about the greatest women's basketball player on the planet as we speak, I also think A'ja Wilson is going to score less than 25.5 points against the Lynx on Saturday night. The Lynx have been the best team in the WNBA this season, and they're going to do their best to clog the middle and make things hard on Wilson.

That'll be just fine with her, though, as I put her supporting cast up against any other. If she can dish to NaLyssa Smith or kick to Jackie Young or leave it to Chelsea Gray to find options, she has no problem with that, as long as the Aces win. Wilson, by the way, averages 18.0 points per home game against the Lynx. In those 12 home games, Wilson has gone over 25.5 points just twice.

Jackie Young OVER 16.5 points (-110)

If Wilson is the focal point for the Lynx, this might be a game where Jackie Young goes off. She's averaging 15.3 points per game this season, and I know she's only scored more than 16 points just once in the last seven games. However, the Lynx bring the best out of Young. In her last nine home meetings with Minnesota, Young is averaging 19.1 points. She's scored 23 or more in six of those games.

Young, who is scoring 17.0 points per home game this year, is going to find herself with plenty of open looks if Aces coach Becky Hammon decides to utilize the trio of Wilson, Smith, and Stephanie Talbot to bring the Lynx closer to the paint. Expect Young to find her rhythm and land over her point total.

Kayla McBride OVER 1.5 3-pointers (-148)

Is this a high price to pay? Absolutely. Do I mind paying it with Kayla McBride in an arena she knows well? Absolutely not. I know she's averaging just 1.8 made 3-pointers this season, but she's made two or more 3s in seven of her 12 games this season. There is no bigger game than those at Michelob Ultra Arena.

Besides, visits to Las Vegas also bring out the best in K-Mac. She's made two or more treys in three of her last four visits to Las Vegas, including a whopping eight 3-pointers in that ridiculous 53-point demolition last August. And since joining the Lynx, she's made two or more 3-pointers in 10 of her 18 games against the Aces.
