WNBA Best Bets (June 20): Player Props, Odds & Predictions Featuring Paige Bueckers and Jessica Shepard

Surprisingly, we have just three games for Saturday, with two early tips and one late one from Dallas, where the Chicago Sky visit the Wings for a nononference clash. That's where my focus is for tonight's WNBA best bets, as I love some prop plays from the nightcap.

Earlier in the day, we have Caitlin Clark and Indiana visiting Atlanta in the second of a home-and-home after the Dream topped the Fever in Indianapolis on Saturday. From Arizona, we have the Seattle Storm and Phoenix Mercury dueling in the desert, with both hoping to spark some life into their disappointing seasons.

WNBA Best Bets: Top Player Props Today

The Sky have lost four in a row and are struggling to find the winner's circle. While they continue to play without DiJonai Carrington, Rickea Jackson and Courtney Vandersloot, they will visit a Dallas team dealing with its own injuries, as Odyssey Sims is out and Alysha Clark and Alanna Smith are questionable.

Nevertheless, for the Wings, they still have Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd. Dallas is back home after an 11-point loss in San Francisco. The Wings have alternated wins and losses over their last six games after a 6-1 win streak vaulted them near the top of the league standings.

Paige Bueckers Over 19.5 Points (+100)

We're getting a value price in taking the 2025 Rookie of the Year over her point total, as she's underperformed the last two games with 25 total points, scoring 10 in a 30-point win against the Las Vegas Aces and 15 in the road loss to the Golden State Valkyries.

But when the Wings won by 10 in Chicago on May 20, Bueckers went for 24 points. In three career games against the Sky, she's scoring 18.7 ppg, which wouldn't get it done tonight, but she's also increased her points total each time, from 15 to 17 to 24. And make note when Bueckers has less than 20 points in back-to-back games, she's scored 20 or more the next time out six of nine times during her career. Look for her to erupt tonight.

Jessica Shepard Under 11.5 Rebounds (-114)

Jessica Shepard has been solid in the paint for Dallas this season, leading the team with 11.5 rebounds per game. Granted, she's snatched an average of 12.2 off the glass the last four games, I'm not so sure she can be as dominant with Kamilla Cardoso patrolling the paint.

If history prevails in this one, she'll be lucky to get half that tonight, as she's averaging just 5.9 rpg in 11 appearances against the Sky, including four starts. And since Cardoso came into the league in 2024, Shepard has hit double-digit rebounds once, with 10 in the May 20 meeting. In that five-game span, she's averaging 4.2 rebounds against Chicago.

First Half Points Under 83.5 (-108)

With Chicago's recent struggles, it's safe to assume coach Tyler Marsh will be focused on a defensive effort to start the game, hoping Cardoso can control the paint and his perimeter players can put the clamps on Bueckers and Fudd. Whether it's attainable remains to be seen. He'll have to hope so since his team is averaging just 39.0 points per first half this season.

The Wings rank sixth in the league averaging 42.8 points in the first half. However, during a recent 2-3 run, it's down a tick to 41.8 points in the first 20 minutes. Not sure how much work Dallas will have to do on the defensive end, considering the Sky are one of the least efficient teams in the league, ranking 13th with their offensive efficiency.
