WNBA Best Bets for Today: Player Props, Odds, Game Totals & Predictions (June 22)

Publish Date: Jun 22, 2026

Key Points
  • Connecticut ranks 14th in allowing teams to hit 37.3 percent from 3-point range.
  • The Sun are scoring the league's sixth-most 43.3 first-half points in June.
  • Brittney Griner is averaging just 4.9 rebounds per game.

The cream is certainly starting to rise to the top, as the expected power brokers in the WNBA have found their way into the top five of the standings, while there is a logjam for the final three playoff spots among six teams.

Four games on the card tonight, including important games in Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Seattle. The Dream host Toronto, and you never know what you're getting from the Tempo. The Phoenix Mercury visit Indiana, where all eyes are on the struggling Fever. And the streaking Dallas Wings visit the Storm in the Pacific Northwest for what one would think is an easy task.

WNBA Best Bets: Today's Top Player Props

I mentioned the three WNBA games that could have an impact on the playoff race, but when it comes to value, there are some tasty prices in the Eastern Conference clash between the Chicago Sky and Connecticut Sun.

The Sky (4-11) are in 13th place and arrive after their disappointing loss to the Wings, who rallied from a 14-point deficit to beat Chicago 93-92 on Saturday night. It was Chicago's fifth-straight loss. The two-win Sun (2-15) have lost seven in a row and are hosting their fifth of a seven-game homestand.

Sky vs. Sun First Half Over 81.5 Points (-110)

Neither team has done much offensively to make an 'Over' wager sound attractive. But when you look at their defensive efforts, it's easy to see these two going at it early. The Sun are allowing the league's fourth-highest 43.8 points per first half, and considering what just transpired in Arlington with the Sky and Wings, I would imagine Chicago's gunners will be firing.

Chicago, which is giving up 42.3 points in the first half, is facing a Connecticut team that has been desperate for a win all month and is averaging 84.3 points per game in June. In their high-scoring efforts, the Sun are scoring the league's sixth-most 43.3 first-half points in June. These two will be pushing early.

Brittney Griner Over 4.5 Rebounds (-136)

You think Brittney Griner, you see the posted total for her rebounds, and you're immediately taken aback. But it makes sense when you see she's averaging just 4.9 rebounds per game. That said, she's grabbed five or more rebounds in five of nine games this season. She's also coming off an eight-rebound performance against the Tempo.

She has a formidable counterpart in Kamilla Cardoso, but Chicago's 6-foot-7 might be feeling a bit weary tonight. The Sky have alternated between the road and home the past seven games and now play their second straight road game in three days. Cardoso was grabbing 9.6 rebounds over the first 11 games, but is averaging 4.7 in the last four. Griner could have the edge and should be able to snatch five off the glass tonight.

Skylar Diggins Over 1.5 3-Pointers (+118)

Skylar Diggins is one of the most competitive players in the league, and doesn't take losses well. She certainly isn't happy with how the season is going right now, and after seeing Chicago's 14-point lead disintegrate in Dallas, Diggins will undoubtedly be firing tonight. Among active players on the roster, she leads the team with 1.4 3-pointers per game.

Diggins has dropped two or more threes in three of her last four games and in five of her last seven, averaging 2.0 from long range since June 2. And most importantly, the Sun rank 14th in allowing teams to hit 37.3 percent from beyond the arc, second-highest in the WNBA.
