Key Points
  • Sonia Citron has scored 16 or more in 12 of 17 games this season. Her point total for tonight is 15.5. Will she go over or stay under?
  • Natasha Howard ranks 13th in the league with 8.1 rebounds per game. Tonight she'll have a tall task in posting up Brittney Griner. Her rebounding total is 7.5.
  • Dearica Hamby is averaging 14.5 points at home this season. Her point total in tonight's game is 14.5 points. Will she stay under?

Three games highlight the WNBA card today, with a pair of nonconference clashes starting things out, and a Western Conference showdown in Los Angeles finishing off the night. The Golden State Valkyries bring a four-game win streak into the nation's capital to face the dangerous Washington Mystics, who have won two straight and five of seven to enter the playoff conversation. The game tips at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on WNBA League Pass.

The Connecticut Sun visit the Minnesota Lynx, who return from a three-game road trip that ended with a 13-point loss in Brooklyn. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET and is also available on League Pass.

The nightcap will be in L.A., where the Sparks are hoping to shake a funk that has seen them lose two straight and four of five. The Sparks will entertain the five-win Seattle Storm in a 10 p.m. ET tip that can be seen on USA Network.

Sonia Citron UNDER 15.5 Points (-108)

After going for 32 points against the Portland Fire in last week's 4OT marathon, I'm not too sure what we're going to get from Sonia Citron, having been off, maybe, too long. Citron has only gone for 30 or more one other time, and she followed that with a 7-point outing.

The books might be begging you to play this one over since Citron has scored 16 or more in 12 of 17 games this season. It's a classic trap situation in my eyes. The Valkyries are the stingiest team in the league, and Citron may find it hard to find her rhythm against coach Natalie Nakase's scheme. She's averaging 13.0 points through four career games against Golden State.

Natasha Howard OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-138)

Natasha Howard ranks 13th in the league with 8.1 rebounds per game, and tonight will step into the paint against legendary Brittney Griner. One would think the challenge is insurmountable, but the history between these two might surprise you. In head-to-head comparison during their careers, Howard averages 12.7 rebounds per 100 possessions, while boasting a 14.7 total rebounding percentage.

The Lynx and Howard, who is averaging 8.3 rebounds in her last eight clashes against Griner, will be looking to avenge Friday's 13-point loss in New York, where she grabbed just six rebounds. Before that, she snatched a total of 29 in her previous two games. Howard has registered eight or more rebounds in half of her games (10 of 20) this season.

Dearica Hamby OVER 14.5 Points (-115)

While Dearica Hamby might be averaging 14.2 points through 18 games this season, she topped that mark the last two games, scoring 21 in a 28-point loss in Toronto and 15 in a 24-point loss in Indianapolis. Now, back home, Hamby is going to shoulder the burden of leading the Sparks, who are still without Kelsey Plum and Cameron Brink.

She is averaging 14.5 points at home this season, but over her last four in Los Angeles, Hamby is scoring 15.2 points per game. She's scored 15 or more in five of nine home games. Finally, Hamby has scored 15 or more in six of her last nine meetings with Seattle.
