Today, the Washington Mystics (5-6, 3-3 away) will match up against the New York Liberty (9-4, 5-3 home). They will head to New York, where the NBA's Knicks are now NBA Champions. Washington broke the two-game skid with a Sonia Citron cold-blooded buzzer-beater shot over the Tempo on Friday. Now the Mystics get a scorching Liberty team that's won six straight games.

Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu is set to return from a back injury and hasn't played since May 24. 1-0 vs. the Mystics in 2026, New York is a 13-point favorite on FanDuel.

Next up, the Atlanta Dream (8-4, 4-2 away) will face the Toronto Tempo (7-6, 4-2 home). Angel Reese and the Dream are fresh off a 104-90 loss to the Liberty, although they've won 2 of their last 3 games. The Tempo cut the deficit last game, thanks to Marina Mabrey's hot stretch, but fell to the Mystics at the buzzer.

These two teams will face off for the first time in WNBA history, as Toronto is the WNBA's newest expansion franchise. Today, the Tempo are 6.5-point underdogs at home.

The Commissioner's Cup is still in play until June 17, and every game is a high-stakes matchup. The Dream aren't eliminated from the East just yet, but will need a win and point differential to get ahead of the Fever and Liberty.

Let's take a look at my best bets, player prop picks, and predictions for today's WNBA matchups on June 14.

WNBA Best Bets & Player Props (June 14)

  • Angel Reese OVER 11.5 Rebounds (-140 Fanatics)
  • Breanna Stewart OVER 27.5 Points + Rebounds (-122 FanDuel)
  • New York Liberty OVER 89.5 Points (-140 Fanatics)

Washington Mystics vs. New York Liberty Best Bets

Breanna Stewart OVER 27.5 Points + Rebounds

For my first best bet, I placed one unit on Liberty star Breanna Stewart to record over 27.5 points and rebounds (PR) vs. the Mystics.

Stewart has been red hot, scoring 19+ points alone in four straight June games. This month, she's averaging 24 points and 9.3 rebounds, while shooting 44.6% from the field and 89.9% from the line. Yes, her 3-point shooting concerns me a bit (15.4% in June), but Stewart's overall points and rebound numbers are up from May.

The Liberty get Sabrina Ionescu back, which could impact Stewart's production. Either way, Kiki Iriafen is out for the Mystics, leaving them to rely on Shakira Austin, Lauren Betts, and Michaela Onyenwere. Although not a bad thing, the Mystics lose one of their top scorers and two-way defenders in Iriafen.

This time, she won't have to face Iriafen, who hit the game-tying shot. Although Stewart missed the game-winner, she gets redemption today.

We saw the Mystics take the Liberty to overtime this season, although they lost, 98-93. In that matchup, Stewart scored 23 points in 39 minutes, while shooting 9-of-23 from the field, 1-of-4 from three, and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line. +9 on the court, Stewart took charge as New York was without both Ionescu and Leonie Fiebich. In addition, she added 9 rebounds.

Stewart didn't exactly have her best shooting performance, but she cleared this prop line despite such poor shooting. So let's lock her in to clear this line again today.

Back Stewart Against an Injured Mystics Frontcourt

Stewart has been on a tear, soaring over this points and rebounds prop line in four games, averaging 33.2 PR during that span.

From a points perspective, Stewart has scored 28 and 30 points in 2 of her last 3 games. Now she gets a Mystics team that allows a combined 42.2 points and rebounds to forwards. Yes, Washington boasts a formidable frontcourt, but Iriafen's absence shakes things up.

This season, we've seen Nneka Ogwumike (20) and Jessica Shepard (12) score a decent amount of points. In addition, Ogwumike and Shepard lit up the Mystics' defense for 11 and 16 rebounds this season.

Not only am I loving this matchup today, but I'm also confident given that Stewart is playing heavy minutes (32.8) for head coach Chris DeMarco. She boasts a 28.2% usage rate, and a 14.2 shot volume rate is solid.

In fact, Stewart leads the WNBA in free-throw attempts (8.1), free-throws made (7.2), and is shooting at a high clip from the line (89.5%). It might just be a perfect matchup given that Washington allows the third-most free-throw attempts per game (24.5).

Stewart is putting together another MVP-esque season, averaging 20.4 points and 8.8 rebounds on the year. Not only does she have a matchup advantage now, but this prop line is well below her PR season average.

Stewart is coming off a low-volume scoring affair, but she erupted for 19 points and 11 rebounds against the Dream. 5-of-9 from the field, Stewart drilled 9-of-11 attempts from the line against Reese and Naz Hillmon.

Final WNBA Betting Prediction: Breanna Stewart OVER 27.5 Points + Rebounds (-140 Fanatics)

In the three games prior, she averaged 14.7 FTA, 25.7 points, and 8.6 rebounds.

The Liberty and Mystics are solid rebounding teams, but if we look at the stats, Stewart hasn't dipped below 8 rebounds in June. Over the last two games, she has 20 boards alone.

  • I'm taking Breanna Stewart to record over 27.5 points and rebounds. She cleared this line in the first matchup (32) and also in 8 of 13 games in 2026. 65% of her shots come inside the restricted area and paint, but she may get a break from three, where opponents are shooting 39% from above-the-break-3. Lauren Betts should see increased action today, and the Mystics face a much stronger frontcourt today.

New York Liberty Team Total OVER 89.5 Points

For my second-best bet, I placed one unit on the Liberty to score over 89.5 points. I know this prop bet is a bit juiced, but there's still value here.

The Liberty are getting hot at the right time, winning six straight games. Over that span, they've scored 89+ points in three games and are fresh off a 104-90 victory over the Dream.

Yes, you read that correctly. New York put up 104 points against a stingy Atlanta defense that ranks No. 2 in defensive rating (102.4).

New York is getting healthy, and all the pieces are starting to fit together, especially now that Sabrina Ionescu is set to return. Over the last 6 games, New York boasts the fifth-highest offensive rating (110.8) and is averaging 88.7 points per game. Over that span, the team is shooting 36.2% from deep and has been the top team on the glass (40.2).

It's scary how many weapons the Liberty have. To put it into perspective, Satou Sabally and Betnijah Laney-Hamilton are coming off the bench. They possess one of the tallest lineups with Jonquel Jones, Breanna Stewart, Leonie Fiebich, Han Xu, and more. Truly, this is one of the most complete rosters top to bottom.

They get another matchup with the Mystics, which ranks ninth in defensive rating (106.4). They have solid, young defenders, but Iriafen's absence will leave a void.

As a team, Washington allows opponents to shoot 36.3% from beyond the arc, and a big weakness is foul trouble. New York is a 13-point favorite, so I'm expecting New York to put up some serious points here.

Final WNBA Betting Prediction: New York Liberty OVER 89.5 Points (-140 Fanatics)

In the last matchup against Atlanta, New York shot 54% from the field and 52% from three. With five players scoring in double figures (Jones, Stewart, Astier, Sabally Johannés), New York has a nice, well-balanced scoring attack.

  • I'm taking the Liberty to score 90+ points today. They boast the fifth-best offensive rating in the WNBA (110.1), and put up 98 points against Washington in overtime on May 10. With limited players, the Liberty shot 48% from the field, and Breanna Stewart and Marine Johannés combined for 48 points. They are 7-6 on overs in 2026 and scored 90+ points in 6 games.

Atlanta Dream vs. Toronto Tempo Best Bets

Angel Reese OVER 11.5 Rebounds

For my third-best bet, I am locking in Angel Reese to record over 11.5 rebounds against the Toronto Tempo.

The Tempo may be in trouble if forward Nyara Sabally is unable to lace up. She's putting up career numbers, but is questionable (Hamstring).

Reese continues to make the case as the best rebounder in WNBA history as she once again leads the league in rebounds per game (11.9). In addition, she's the WNBA's leading offensive rebounder this season (67). Breaking history left and right, Reese is also the leader in second-chance points (4.5).

Reese already has the most rebounds (957) through the first 75 games of her career. Now in her third WNBA season, she's averaging 14.6 points and 11.9 rebounds. Through 12 games, her 5.6 offensive rebounds are a career-high.

Say what you want, but Reese is a perennial rebounder and now has a strong matchup against the Tempo. Although set to face Toronto for the first time, the Tempo are one of the least-efficient teams on the glass (31.2%). Compare them to the Dream, who boasts the fourth-best rebounding percentage (35.9) in the WNBA.

If Sabally misses a second straight game, the Tempo will have to rely on Isabelle Harrison, Laura Juskaite, and Temi Fábénlé. Harrison has been playing well since her return, but Reese has the clear matchup advantage here.

Final WNBA Betting Prediction: Angel Reese OVER 11.5 Rebounds (-122 FanDuel)

Overall, the Tempo allows the third-most second-chance points per game (12.8), and Reese is having a monstrous month. In June, she's recorded back-to-back 17 rebounds against the Sky and Mystics. This month, she's averaging 13.2 rebounds per game.

Heck, Reese even grabbed 9 boards against the Liberty, who are one of the longest and tallest WNBA teams.

  • I'm locking in Angel Reese to record over 11.5 rebounds today. The Tempo gives up the second-most rebounds to centers per game (11.2). This season, Shakira Austin (11), Olivia Nelson-Ododa (13), and Jonquel Jones (17) crushed this line against Toronto. I'm confident in Reese's minutes (31.4), and she is the perfect cleanup player for a loaded Dream team that includes Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray.  This is a perfect matchup given that Toronto allows 9.6 offensive boards and 34.6 rebounds per game.
