After being down by as many as 15, the Fever unleashed a 29-15 scoring explosion in the third to turn back the Mercury and grab their eighth win of the season.
The Fever will be taking on an Aces team that has been on fire since the return of point guard Chelsea Gray into the lineup.
In their most recent clash, the Aces came up on top behind A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young, and Kelsey Plum, who combined for 71 points. With both teams in high spirits heading into this match, let’s take a look at how bookmakers view this match.

Las Vegas Aces Injury Report
The Indiana Fever heads into this match as 13-point underdogs according to the latest Indiana Fever vs. Las Vegas Aces odds. However, that seems generous considering that the Fever has won five of their seven games.
Moreover, in their past two losses, the Fever has only lost by an average margin of 6.5 points.
Las Vegas dominated Indiana 99-80 in their first matchup. But that was earlier in the season when rookie guard Caitlin Clark was still acclimating to the hustle and bustle of the WNBA season.
In her first game against the Aces, Clark was only limited to eight points and seven rebounds on a dismal two-out-of-eight shooting from the field. What’s even worse was Clark turned the ball over six times, giving the Aces plenty of opportunities to score.
In their past nine home games, Las Vegas has managed to only cover the spread three times. If that’s not good enough, the Fever is also 7-7 ATS when bookmakers have them as underdogs and 11-9 ATS overall.
Plenty of things are going right for the Las Vegas Aces since the return of speedy point guard Chelsea Gray. Over their past four games, the Aces have beaten teams by an average of 11.3 points. They will be taking on a Fever team they have beaten at home by 19 points earlier this season. What’s even more impressive is the Aces have beaten the Fever the last 12 times they faced.
As a matter of fact, the last time the Fever beat the Aces was in 2019.
An exciting player matchup heading into this match is between guards Kelsey Plum and Caitlin Clark.
Also expected to carry the offensive load for the streaking Aces team is former Notre Dame Fighting Irish star Jackie Young, who has been leading the team in scoring in two of their last four wins.
WNBA MVP candidate and season leading scorer A’ja Wilson is expected to once again deliver the goods for the Aces against the Fever.
She was limited to just 11 points and nine rebounds against Mystics after struggling from the field. After struggling in the last game, expect Wilson to head into the game against the Fever with a chip on her shoulder, which makes the -13 spread at -110 odds an attractive option for punters.
The Las Vegas Aces have dominated the Indiana Fever in their last matchup earlier this season. This time around, though, it will be different. Since that 19-point drubbing, the Fever is a completely different team as shown in current play, winning five of their last seven games.
Another thing worth looking at is the over 171.5 market total. In two of their past three encounters, the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces both hit over 172 points.
