WNBA Parlay Bets Today: Odds & Picks Featuring Paige Bueckers and Chelsea Gray (July 5)

WNBA Parlay Bets For Today (July 5)

WNBA Parlay No. 1

Second Quarter Over 44.5 (-113)

• Based on their season averages in the second quarter, the Wings and Tempo shouldn't reach 44.5 points. But, this is the first time these two will ever play, and the first adjustment the coaches will make is on their offensive end, to spark runs in the second quarter. The Wings will play the biggest role in this, as Toronto ranks dead last in allowing 23.4 points per second quarter. The Wings aren't far behind, allowing the league's sixth-highest 21.8 points in the second period. Knowing the coaches will make their defensive adjustment at halftime, I think they make their biggest run at one another in the second.

Paige Bueckers Made 3-pointers Over 1.5 (-146)

• Paige Bueckers is scoring 20.2 points per game, with 23 percent of her made field goals coming from 3-point range. And when she's firing from long range, she's hitting 34.4 percent. The second-year All-Star guard has buried two 3-pointers in back-to-back games, and has made two or more in three of her last four games. For the season, she's made two or more 3-pointers in 11 of 19 games.

Jessica Shepard Over 11.5 Rebounds (-122)

• Jessica Shepard should bring the Windex with her, as this could become a shootout. And with the defensive adjustments I expect at halftime, there will be plenty of contested shots that will need to be rebounded in the second half. Shepard has grabbed more than 11 rebounds in nine of 20 games this season. She's averaging 12.0 rebounds per game her last three outings.

Kelsey Mitchell Over 23.5 points (-114)

• I know Kelsey Mitchell is averaging only 16.3 points in 23 meetings with the Aces, but the circumstances are different tonight. With Caitlin Clark sitting this one out, Mitchell's offensive prowess will be counted upon. She's scored 26 or more in four of her last games and is averaging 24.5 points in all six games.

NaLyssa Smith Over 7.5 rebounds (+110)

• Without A'ja Wilson on the court, it'll be up to NaLyssa Smith to challenge Indiana's Aliyah Boston on the glass, and let's not forget these two were teammates. Smith will know how to position herself and should be ready with the likes of Kelsey Mitchell firing for the Fever and Jackie Young shooting long range for the Aces. Smith just had eight rebounds in the same arena on Friday, and is averaging 9.5 rebounds in her last two home games. Now, she's averaging 6.5 rebounds per home game, but she's also used to having Wilson in the paint. We just need two more from Smith.

Chelsea Gray Over 6.5 assists (-154)

• It's a hefty price to pay, but if Chelsea Gray is playing, I'm looking for her assist numbers to climb. She had just six the other night against Chicago, but this is a game that takes on an entirely different complexion, with the Fever being the highest-scoring team in the league. That'll put Gray in the role of facilitator, as she's going to have to create for her teammates, knowing Wilson is out. Gray has served eight or more assists in six of the team's last seven games.
