The WNBA is in full swing and there are three games scheduled for tonight. There are some big matchups ahead as teams fight for eight playoff spots. In this article, you will find my best player prop bets and predictions for August 6.

A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces (21-9) will face Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (19-11). Today's matchup not only features top WNBA stars but will headline two of the best teams in the league. The Aces rank second in the standings and remain just 2.5 games ahead of the Fever who sit as the fifth seed.

This marks the third regular-season matchup between the two teams as the Fever lead the series 2-0. Not only is this a possible Finals matchup, but it's a rematch of the 2025 WNBA Semifinals. If we all remember, the Aces advanced and won the championship, but the Fever took them to five games.

WNBA Player Prop Bets For Today

Team USA Basketball announced the FIBA World Cup rosters that include Caitlin Clark, A'ja Wilson, Chelsea Gray, and Jackie Young. Tonight features a star-studded affair as the Aces are slim 1.5-point favorites on the road.

Next up, the Los Angeles Sparks (11-18) will match up against the No. 1 seeded Minnesota Lynx (25-6). Post-Kelsey Plum era, Los Angeles has lost seven of its last eight games and are 0-2 against the Lynx this season. Conversely, Minnesota is riding a 10-game winning streak. A team that's led by Olivia Miles, Kayla McBride, Courtney Williams, and Napheesa Collier, the Lynx are the top team in the WNBA.

Oddsmakers aren't predicting a close game as the Lynx enter today's game as 16.5-point favorites.

Last, the Toronto Tempo (10-20) will face the Portland Fire (11-19) tonight as both teams are all but out of playoff contention. While the Fire lead the series 1-0, they are marred by injuries, as they've lost five straight games. Similarly, the Tempo are riding a seven-game losing streak. Today, the Fire are tabbed as 2.5-point spread favorites.

Here are my top player prop picks, best bets, and predictions for the August 6 WNBA games.

WNBA Player Props Bets (August 6)

  • Jackie Young 19+ Points (-120 Fanatics)
  • Olivia Miles OVER 25.5 Points + Assists (-130 FanDuel)
  • Carla Leite 18+ Points (-115 Fanatics)

Las Vegas Aces vs. Indiana Fever Prop Bets

Jackie Young 19+ Points

I'm locking in Aces star Jackie Young to record 19+ points against the Indiana Fever.

Young had a rocky start to the season, but has been on full blast ever since. In 30 games, she's averaging 17.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.0 steals while shooting 49.1% from the field and 38% from three.

Young is a Swiss Army knife, she can do it all for the Aces. Considered one of the best two-way players in the WNBA, she's been vital to the team's success.

Over the last six games, she's putting up 24.7 points, while shooting an efficient 58.9% from the floor and 40% from three. How can I fade Young here? She's efficient in attacking downhill, but has been ruthless beyond the arc, especially in transition.

Jackie Young Named to FIBA World Cup Roster

In that span, Young's delivered 3 25+ point outings, including 29 and 28 points against the New York Liberty and Atlanta Dream. Plus, she's posting the second-highest usage rate of her career under Becky Hammon (23.7%).

I'm locking in Young for a few reasons here: her minutes are strong (32.4 MPG), and she's averaging a career-high 13.4 FGA and 6.6 FGM per game. An efficient shooter, Young is posting 5.4 threes per game, and that's with A'ja Wilson and Chelsea Gray in the starting lineup.

Young has yet to pass 19+ points against this Fever, scoring 15 points in both outings. In her defense, the Fever defeated the Aces last 109-75 and Young shot 4-of-8 with just one 3-point attempt.

Previously, the Aces were blown out by the Fever in July 84-69. In that game, Young produced 15 points, and shot 6-of-13 from the field and 1-of-5 from three.

I really like Jackie in this spot tonight. She's averaging 15.5 field goal attempts over the last two games, and is shooting 57.3% from the field and 50% from three over those games.

Final WNBA Betting Prediction: Jackie Young 19+ Points (-120 Fanatics)

A true three-level scorer, Young has a strong matchup against a Fever team that allow the second-most 2-point makes and attempts per game. Plus, they rank middle-of-the-road when it comes to guards.

While I think Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark are great players, Young has the matchup advantage here, especially strength wise.

  • I'm locking in Jackie Young to score 19+ points. She's cleared this line in five of the last six games and has a strong case to play heavy minutes, even if it's a blowout. Plus, she's barely gotten to the line, so keep that in mind.

Los Angeles Sparks vs. Minnesota Lynx Player Prop Bets

Olivia Miles OVER 25.5 Points + Assists

For my second-best bet, I locked in Lynx star Olivia Miles to record over 25.5 points + assists against the Sparks.

On paper, this is a 10/10 matchup for Miles as the Sparks traded away Kelsey Plum and own one of the worst defensive ratings (113.2) in the WNBA. We are talking about a Sparks team who allow the most points per game with 94.3.

This game has blowout potential, but that may not be the case. The Lynx are 2-0 against the Sparks this season, and Miles exploded for 31 points and four assists in their first matchup.

In 2026, Miles is firmly in the Rookie of the Year and MVP conversation with 19.7 points and 5.8 assists per game (25.5 PA). This puts Miles prop line right around her season average.

Miles is electric. She can create her own shot and beat opposing defenders downhill. Likely matched up with Rae Burrell or Erica Wheeler, it's truly hard to say anyone on Los Angeles can guard up Miles.

Since the All-Star break, Miles has been on a tear, posting averages of 22.7 points and 4.7 assists. Since Collier has returned to the lineup, Miles is averaging 20.3 points and 5.0 assists.

It's fair to say the Sparks' defense has struggled to contain guards and allow the most points to guards per game. Lately we saw Carla Leite and Paige Bueckers put up 21 and 25 points alone.

Final WNBA Betting Prediction: Olivia Miles OVER 25.5 Points + Assists (-130 FanDuel)

It's a perfect matchup for Miles, who's shooting an incredible 70% in the restricted area. Defensively, the Sparks allow opponents to shoot 70% from that zone. Expect Miles to get downhill quite a bit tonight.

Based on Miles' matchup and recent stats, I'm full green-lighting this player prop. Her assist line has been a bit volatile, but nonetheless, is still one of the best passers in the WNBA. Plus, over the last five games, she's averaging 22.9 points and 5.6 assists per game.

  • I'm taking Olivia Miles to record over 25.5 points and assists today. The matchup is too good for me to fade.

Bonus Bet: Carla Leite 18+ Points
