There are four games on the WNBA slate, which means there are a ton of player prop bets to consider!
First up, the Connecticut Sun (1-5) will face the sizzling-hot New York Liberty (6-0) on the road. Massive 18.5 point underdogs, the Sun are coming off their first victory of the season over a Caitlin Clark-less Indiana Fever team. Now they face the Liberty, who are off to their best start since 1997.
Next up, Jewell Loyd will once again face her former team as a member of the Las Vegas Aces (3-2). In their first matchup of the season, the Seattle Storm (3-3) routed the Aces, 102-82. Now they get another matchup at home, and the Storm are +2.5 point spread underdogs.
On the West Coast, the Kelsey Plum and the Los Angeles Sparks (2-5) will host the Phoenix Mercury (4-2) at home. -5.5 point spread favorites, the Sparks will face a Mercury team—who will be without stars Alyssa Thomas and Kahleah Copper. Fresh off a two-game losing skid, the Sparks look to get back on track.
Last, the undefeated Minnesota Lynx (6-0) will square up against the Golden State Valkyries (2-3) on the road. Their first-ever meeting in both franchise histories, Lynx star Napheesa Collier is once again listed as questionable for tonight's outing. Fresh off a gritty 74-71 victory against Phoenix, thanks to Natisha Heideman—the Lynx are heavy 11.5 point spread favorites. In their inaugural WNBA season, the Valkyries are coming off back-to-back losses against the Liberty.

If you're looking to bet on the WNBA welcome!
With a 33-30 WNBA betting record last month, let's start June off right!
The early afternoon matchup between the Sun and Liberty will tip-off at 3 p.m. ET. Beginning at 6 p.m. ET, the Mercury and Sparks will square off— and the Aces and Storm will kick things off in Seattle. Set to begin at 8:30 p.m. ET, the Lynx and Valkyries will face off in the Bay.
Here are my three best player prop bets and predictions for the Sunday, June 1 WNBA matchups! It's worth to note, I placed all of my best bets as separate wagers (no parlays).

GP: 6 | PPG: 17.8 | FG: 40.7 % | FT: 91.3 % | 3PT : 32 % | REB: 4.7 | AST: 4.7| STL: 1.0 | BLK: 0
My first best bet for today, I placed one unit on New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu to record over 2.3 3-pointers made against the Connecticut Sun.
It's the start of the Commissioner Cup, meaning every point counts. With that said, the Liberty have a ton of talent, and arguably the best starting five in the WNBA. While can be anyone's night, Sabrina has had massive looks beyond the arc.
New York's second leading scorer with 17.8 points per game, Ionescu leads the Liberty with 8.3 3-point attempts per game. While a 32 3-point percentage isn't close to her norm, she's averaging 2.7 deep balls per game!
Coming off a 28-point performance against the Mystics, and 24-point showing against the Valkyries, Sabrina has been red hot. Impacting the box score in every which way, she has a combined 26 3-point attempts over the last two games!
Overall, Ionescu has 37 shot attempts over the last two matchups. With the Liberty playing a five out style of basketball, it's helped Ionescu find her groove.
There's no question the Liberty are the hottest team in the WNBA aside from the Lynx, and boast the best offensive rating (110.1) in the league. Now they face a rebuilding Sun team, who has just one win on the season.
With that, the Sun rank No. 12 in defensive rating (110.1), and allow 87.3 points per game. Not to mention, opponents are shooting 35.3 percent from beyond the arc against Connecticut.
Although Ionescu had a slow start to the season in terms of 3-point shooting, I'm optimistic she shot 36.4 percent and 40 percent from deep in the last two showdowns.
This is a Connecticut Sun team who allowed DeWanna Bonner and Lexie Hull to combined for five 3-pointers alone. The game before, Wings star Arike Ogunbowale soared well over 2.5 trey balls. Agains the Atlanta Dream, guards Rhyne Howard and Maya Caldwell combined for 17 3-point attempts.
Chelsey Gray 2025 WNBA Stats
GP: 5 | PPG: 12.8 | FG: 36.4 % | FT: 87.5 % | 3PT : 38.5 % | REB: 3.8 | AST: 3.4 | STL: 1.8 | BLK: 0.4
My second best bet for today, I placed one unit on Aces star guard Chelsea Gray to record over 3.5 assists against the Seattle Storm.
Considered one of the most pristine point guards in the WNBA, Gray is averaging 3.5 assists on the season, and I think she will record well over this player prop assist line.
I decided to go with 4.5 assists for two reasons. I believe in the value, and I also believe in Gray's facilitating capabilities given its a Commissioner Cup matchup.
Yet to soar over 4.5 assists, Gray recorded at least four assists in three of the five games played this season.
Overall, this isn't far off the mark—Gray has historically facilitated extremely well against the Storm. Although the addition of Jewell Loyd shakes things up for the Aces, the departure of Kelsey Plum should raise the assist total if anything.
Not to mention, Gray has recorded well over 4.5 assists in 17 of the last 18 head-to-head matchups against the Storm! That's an average of 17.3 assists over the last 18 games (playoffs included).
We all know how well Gray can turn up during the playoffs—hence, the "Point Gawd" nickname. The Commissioner Cup is a bit more intense, since point differential matters.
Last Sunday, Gray tallied just three assists in 25 minutes in the Storm's 102-82 blowout against the Aces. The Storm have a loaded roster, although they rank No. 8 in defensive rating. In the matchup, Gray didn't play a lick of the fourth quarter.
This is a Storm team that allows 18.7 assists per game, and the Aces will bounce back from that early season detrimental loss.
I'm expecting heavy volume minutes tonight in what should be a closer matchup between both teams. Although the line is a bit juiced, there's still great value here. It's rare I get to grab Gray at this line.
GP: 6 | PPG: 16.2 | FG: 37.2 % | FT: 84.6 % | 3PT : 32 % | REB: 5.3 | AST: 3.5 | STL: 0.5 | BLK: 0.3
My third best bet for today, I'm taking Connecticut Sun guard Marina Mabrey to record over 3.5 assists agains the Liberty.
One of two players to return to the Sun from last season, Mabrey is the second scoring leader behind Tina Charles with 16.2 points per game. With that, she leads the Sun with 3.5 assists per game.
There's no question Mabrey has struggled this season early on, shooting just 37.2 percent from the field, and 32 percent from beyond the arc.
The Sun have faced top tier teams early on—the Fever, Dream Lynx, and Liberty. More often than not, we've seen team's frequently trap and blitz Mabrey nearly at half court. On a rebuilding team, opponents are learning how to shut down Mabrey.
That was until she exploded for 26 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.o assists against the Indiana Fever on Friday. Although I don't expect this game to be close against the Liberty, the Sun have hung in games!
Although the Fever were missing Caitlin Clark, the Sun pulled off it's first victory of the season, and that was in large part due to Marina Mabrey. Although Mabrey doesn't have the stars in Alyssa Thomas, Brionna Jones, DiJonai Carrington, or DeWanna Bonner—don't sleep on this Sun team. Both Bria Hartley and rookie Saniya Rivers have shown their 3-point prowess. And then, of course, the great Tina Charles.
Although the Sun are a vastly different team, Mabrey has recorded over 3.5 assists in five straight head-to-head matchups against the Liberty. Averaging 5.8 dimes over that span, she's soared over this player prop line in three of five games this season.
Let's face it. The Sun are set to face the Liberty for the first time this season. With a dynamic duo of Natasha Cloud and Sabrina Ionescu in the backcourt—bucket's won't come easy for Mabrey. I'm expecting heavy pressure from Cloud on Mabrey, forcing her to facilitate for her teammates.
In another words, I'm expecting Natasha Cloud to lock up Mabrey all game. Although this is a Liberty team that allows just 18 assists per game, Mabrey is averaging a career-high usage rate (27.6 %).
