While the short break has concluded, the WNBA is back in full swing! Today, there are five game on the betting slate, multiple of which will air on national television. Get your popcorn out, there are some cinema-worthy matchups tonight!
First up, Kelsey Plum and the Los Angeles Sparks (8-14, 5-6) will face the Washington Mystics (11-11, 7-3 home). Fresh off All-Star break, the Sparks left off on a two-game win streak against the Mystics and Sun. Defeating Washington 99-80 prior to the All-Star break, the Sparks are now tabbed as +135 moneyline underdogs. Having finished the first half of the season at .500, the Mystics are 3-1 in their last four games.
Set to air on ESPN, the Indiana Fever (12-11, 5-5 away) square off against the New York Liberty (15-6, 10-2 home). It's no secret Caitlin Clark was unable to participate in the All-Star activities, and now will be ruled out for another game tonight. With another home matchup—Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty lead the regular season series 2-1—and are tabbed as large 10.5 point-spread favorites.
WNBA All-Star MVP Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx (20-4, 12-0 home) will host the Chicago Sky (7-15, 3-9 away) in the Twin Cities. The first glimpse of 'Stud Budz,' featuring Natisha Hiedeman and Courtney Williams for the first time since All-Star, the Lynx own a WNBA best 20-4 record. 2-1 against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on the season, the Lynx are massive 15.5-point spread favorites.
A late night broadcast set to air on ESPN, A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces (11-11, 6-4 home) will host the Allisha Gray and the Atlanta Dream (13-9, 5-6 away). In their first matchup of the season, the moneline is split -110 even, and the Aces are fresh off two victories before the break. With a massive 86-49 victory over the Chicago Sky heading into All-Star, the Dream are 5-5 in their last 10 games.
Last, Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings (6-17, 2-10 away) will get Skylar Diggins and the Seattle Storm (14-9, 8-4 home) in the Emerald City. The Wings are riding a four game losing streak, and are 8.5-point spread underdogs. Now they get a matchup on a road against a Storm that's been a hot (6-4 in their last ten games).

Let's take a took at my three best player prop bets and predictions for the July 22 WNBA matchups! I've placed all picks as separate bets within FanDuel and DraftKings Sportsbook.
Are you looking to bet on WNBA player props all season long? Here at Ballislife Bets, we've gathered a complete list of the best sports betting offers here.
GP: 21 | PPG: 23.2| FG: 51.7 % | FT: 51.7 % | 3PT: 34.2 % | REB: 7.6 | AST: 3.3 | STL: 1.8 | BLK: 1.6
My first best WNBA bet for today, I placed one unit on Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier to record over 21.5 points against the Chicago Sky.
The overwhelming favorite to win the WNBA MVP award at -750 odds, Collier is coming off an incredible All-Star weekend. Named MVP of the 2025 All-Star game, the former UConn Husky heads into tonight's game with all the momentum.
There's no question Collier's dominant run this season has led to the Lynx league leading 20-4 run the start the first half of the season. Averaging 23.2 points on the season, let's do this.
Collier has performed well against the Sky this season, soaring over this prop line twice. Let's face it, in three games against Chicago, Collier has averaged 25.3 points, shooting 47.9 percent from the field, and 33.3 percent from deep. Not to mention, her impeccable 96.2 free-throw percentage.
Out of 12 other teams in the WNBA, Collier averages the fifth most points against the Sky, which puts Collier's performances ahead of the Sparks, Valkyries, Storm, Mercury, Aces. Plus, Collier and the Lynx are familiar with this Sky team. With that, they will face Chicago for the third time in 10 days.
In the last two head-to-head matchups, having both Cardoso and Reese in the lineup didn't matter as much. Scoring 29 and 26 points in back-to-back matchups against the Sky in mid July, it was Collier that sunk a 3-pointer to cut the deficit, but ultimately Chicago came out victorious, 87-81 on July 12.
Over those two matchups, not only did Collier combine for 55 points, she's played hefty minutes for head coach Cheryl Reeve (36 MPG). Shooting 50 percent from the field in both outing, Collier shot 18-19 from the free-throw line alone!
The Sky took a brutal loss prior to the All-Star break, and this a favorable matchup for Phee for several reasons. Not only do the Sky allow the second most combined points for forwards per game (30.5 PPG), they allow the most 3-pointers made to forwards. Hence, why Collier 5-10 beyond the arc over their last two matchups.
In their 86-49 massacre against the Atlanta Dream, the Sky allowed a combined 29 points from Brittney Griner and Brionna Jones, and I don't expect it to get any easier tonight. Aforementioned in my previous articles, It's difficult to guard Collier. At 6 foot 1, she players a post position—however, it's her footwork, strength, and ability to knock down midrange shots that makes her lethal. Plus, if open, she'll shoot from deep.
GP: 23 | PPG: 17.5 | FG: 43.2 % | FT: 78.9 % | 3PT: 38.2 % | REB: 2.3 | AST: 5.8 | STL: 1.1 | BLK: 0.7
My second best WNBA bet for today, I placed one unit on Seattle Storm Guard Skylar Diggins to record over 5.5 assists against the Dallas Wings.
If we've learned anything from a fan and betting perspective Skylar Diggins is playing at an elite level, and remains one of the top guards in the WNBA.
Let's not forget how she made WNBA HISTORY, recording the first triple-double ever in an All-Star game. With that, Diggins made history in Caitlin Clark's city, recording 15 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds. Of course it's the All-Star game, defense was minimal.
Ranking third in total assists on the season (134), Diggins ranks among the top five in assists per game (6.0 APG), and has been a playmaking machine as of late.
Sure, I know the 5.5 assists line is a bit higher, however, Diggins recently tallied 6,7,5,4, and 6 assists over the last five games against the Liberty, Sun, Sky, Mystics, and Valkryies. With that said, she's averaging 7.2 assists per 40 minutes, which has drastically increased since her days in Phoenix.
The Storm have plenty of depth and talent in the lineup, including Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor, and Dominique Malonga to run the pick and roll with. Plus, French sensation Gabby Williams was named a first-time All-Star, and is a viable Most-Improved Player candidate.
With a .95 point per play rating, Diggins now get's a prime matchup with the Dallas Wings, who allow the second most assists to guards this season, and most assists in the WNBA with (22.3). Not to mention, the Wings hold the third word defensive rating in the league (108.3), and have various players that have come and gone.
6-0 head-to-head against the Wings over their last six meetings, Diggins doesn't have to carry the entire burden of scoring tonight. In their first matchup, we saw Diggins explode for 21 points and 9.0 assists. For the last meeting, Diggins tallied just nine points, yet recorded 5.0 assists. In Seattle's 83-77 victory over Dallas, Seattle had nine different players that scored.
Overall, Diggins will once again face her former team, against whom she's averaging 15 points, and 7.0 assists per game in two matchups this season.
I'm taking Skylar Diggins to record over 5.5 assists today. The Wings have been dreadful on defense, allowing a league worst 25.4 assists over the last five games. This player prop line additionally has great value.
GP: 17 | PPG: 20.1 | FG: 39.7 % | FT: 91.5 % | 3PT: 35.8 % | REB: 3.1 | AST: 5.8 | STL: 1.5 | BLK: 0.1
My third WNBA best bet for today, I placed one unit on Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum to record over 17.5 points against the Washington Mystics.
In her first season with the Sparks, Plum is averaging a career-high 20.1 points per game, and continues to be the leading scorer for them.
If there's one thing to know as a bettor, Kelsey Plum loves to play well against the Washington Mystics. Soaring over 17.5 points in three of the last four head-to-head matchups, Plum is averaging 18 points over that span.
Not to mention, she exploded for 20 points in the Sparks only game against Washington this season. In a much needed 99-80 victory, the Spark's offense was firing on all cylinders, thanks to Plum.
+13 on the floor in their last meeting, Plum shot 7-13 from the field, 3-5 from three, and 3-3 from the charity stripe. As a whole, Dearica Hamby, Azurà Stevens, Rickea Jackson, and Plum each recorded 20+ points.
With the addition of adding Latricia Trammell to the Spark's coaching staff, the team continues to move forward. Of course, Kelsey Plum doesn't have to drop 40 points a night. However, she is WNBA's third leading scorer for a reason. Now she faces a gritty Mystics team, who's middle of the road defensively.
There's no doubt Brittney Sykes and Sonia Citron will clamp down defensively for the Mystics. However, Washington ranks No. 7 in defensive rating (100.1), and allows the seventh most points to guards.
This puts Plum in a prime spot, who's been on a tear as of late. Soaring over this prop in 3/4 games, Diggins is averaging 20 points over that span.
Overall, the books are expecting this game to be close, as the Mystics are slim 3.5-point spread favorites at home. A true three level scorer, Plum is one of the most efficient guards in the league who can shoot from several areas. With the ability to shoot beyond the arc, yet drive to the basket, versatility will be key against the Mystics.
Plus, Plum is a high volume shooter, and durable player. Over the last two games, she's averaging 21.5 points alone on 13.5 field goal attempts. Plus, Plum has 13 3-point attempts over that span.
