The Indiana Fever (1-1) will once again face the Atlanta Dream (1-1) at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Having matched up two days prior, the Dream came out victorious, 91-90, thanks to Nia Coffey's crucial defensive rebound in that last possession. Down by one point, the Fever had seven seconds to call game. However, the Dream's defense was crucial in shutting that down.
Tonight's game will be held at a larger arena than normal with Caitlin Clark and company in town. That said, the Fever are 4.5 point spread favorites on the road.
For the late-night showdown, the New York Liberty (1-0) will face the Chicago Sky (0-1) on the road. 12.5 point underdogs at home, the Sky were crushed 93-58 against the Indiana Fever in the season opener. Following the ring and banner ceremony, the Liberty took care of business against the Las Vegas Aces, 92-78.
The favorites to win the 2025 WNBA Championship at +220 odds, tonight marks the season's largest point spread for New York. If you're betting on this matchup, it's the reigning champions vs a young and upcoming team featuring Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso.
It's the first time veteran guard Courtney Vandersloot will face her former team tonight as a member of the Chicago Sky.
Team vs Team | Moneyline | Spread | Totals |

New York Liberty vs Chicago Sky | -700 / +500 | -12.5 / -12.5 | O/U 163.5 |

GP: 1 |PPG: 8.0 | FG: 25 % | FT: 100 % | 3PT : 0 % | REB: 7.0 | AST: 4.0 | STL: 0 | BLK: 0
My first best bet for today, I placed one unit on Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu to record over 16.5 points against the Chicago Sky.
In New York's season opener against the Aces, Ionescu struggled, scoring just eight points, on 3-12 field goal shooting. Although 0-5 from the 3-point line, she contributed in other ways. With 7.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists, the Liberty covered the spread and then some by 14 points. That's the beauty of New York— there's so much talent, it could be any player's night.
Acquired from the Connecticut Sun in the offseason, guard Natasha Cloud was the main contributor on offense, and continued to exploit the Aces defensive weaknesses with pace and in transition.
That said, Ionescu had several looks, and I don't expect her to have repeat 3-12 shooting performance tonight. Rather yet, she's the 3-point queen, there's not a chance she doesn't hit a long shot tonight. Although the season opener was an off-night shooting wise, Ionescu is fourth on the roster in field goal attempts (12) through just one game.
We are talking about a player who ranked No.5 in 3-pointers made last season (107), and set an WNBA single-season record with 128 threes in 2023. That same year, Ionescu drilled 44.9 percent of her shots beyond the arc.
Although one game is a small sample size, it appears Cloud has stepped in as the Liberty's primary facilitator. Prior to Courtney Vandersloots departure, Ionescu handled the ball handling duties well into the playoffs in the finals. Although she's perfectly capable of doing so, it will be interesting to see the percentage of shoots taken on vs off the ball.
The Liberty will face a Sky team, who continues to rebuild around Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso. Holding a -35 point differential in the WNBA, the Fever put up 93 points on Chicago. In that matchup, backcourt duo Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell combined for 35 points.
Although the Sky made defensive reinforcements by adding Ariel Atkins to the backcourt, Ionescu has the clear cut height advantage over Courtney Vandersloot. Bettors, buckle up— Vandersloot and Ionescu are familiar with each other's games, having spent two seasons in New York as teammates.
Overall, Ionescu has thrived against the Chicago Sky throughout her career, although they have a vastly different roster under heach coach Todd Marsh. Soaring over this prop line in five straight outings against the Sky, Ionescu is 22.2 points over that span.
GP: 1 |PPG: 22 | FG: 47.1 % | FT: 83.3 % | 3PT : 25 % | REB: 6.0 | AST: 9.0 | STL: 3.0 | BLK: 2.0
My second best bet for today, I placed one unit on New York Liberty guard Natasha Cloud to record over 6.5 assists against the Chicago Sky.
The Liberty knew they were getting a "dawg" when they traded a first round draft pick for Cloud. However, no one saw that amount of dominance coming. And against the Las Vegas Aces?
Aforementioned, Cloud was the Liberty's primary ball handler, creating 9.0 assists in 33 mintues against the Aces. Quick in pushing the pace, Cloud was everywhere. In transition, or the drive and kick—her ability to find open teammates will be the difference maker this season. In fact, and addition of Natasha Cloud made my decision to bet on the Liberty futures a bit easier.
Cloud is a WNBA champion, and I still believe she's on the most talented roster of her 10 year career. With plenty of scoring options in Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones, Sabrina Ionescu, and Leonie Fiebich—the bench is full of depth. Kennedy Burke, Marine Johannes, and Nyara Sabally, just to name a few —Brondello has herself a heck of a bench (18 points against the Aces).
With a career average of 5.3 assists per game, Cloud is coming off a a season where she averaged 6.9 dimes in Phoenix. Averaging 6+ assists for the 5th straight year, I do believe the lines are sleeping on this line.
No. 3 in total assists last season (263) behind Caitlin Clark and Alyssa Thomas, we don't talk about Cloud nearly as much as she deserves. Over the last three seasons, Cloud's ranked top five in assists, and led the league in dimes in 2022 with 239.
With a 42.9 assist percentage this season, I'm not fading this prop tonight. Not to mention, she leads the Liberty with a 28.4 usage percentage.
GP: 2 |PPG: 23.5| FG: 45.5 % | FT: 80 % | 3PT :47.5 % | REB: 7.5 | AST: 10.5 | STL: 2.0 | BLK: 2.0
My third best bet for today, I placed one unit on Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark to record over 32.5 points and assists against the Atlanta Dream.
Clark is having an incredible start to the 2025 season, nearly averaging a triple-double. Not to mention, Clark is shooting 47.5 percent from beyond the arc. One of the top MVP candidates aside from A'ja Wilson and Napheesa Collier, Clark has not disappointed.
Bettors often think of Clark of an exceptional shooter, which she is. However, she leads the WNBA in assists per game with 10.5.
With 47 points, and 21 assists through the first two games, Clark is off to a historic start. If we break it down, that's an average of 31 points and assists over the first two games of the season.
The Fever will face the Dream in back-to-back games, this time taking place in Atlanta. Although the Fever signed DeWanna Bonner, Natasha Howard, Brianna Turner, and Syd Colson in the offseason—Indiana didn't get much help from their role players.
Caitlin Clark alone accounted for 61 percent of the team's total assists, and 30 percent of the total points scored. Now she get's a chance for revenge against Atlanta.
I'm assuming both team's will make defensive adjustments, as last game totaled 181 points. Given Clark's shot volume and percentages, I believe a majority of this player prop line can come from points alone.
Through two games, Clark has 43 field goal attempts, and 19 shots from beyond the arc. Not to mention, she's 8-10 from the charity stripe. Playing 32+ minutes in each of the matchups, 21 assists in two games is an astronomical number.
An early favorite to win MVP, Clark is poised to lead the WNBA in assists this season. With a high usage rate of 25.4 percent, Clark holds a 65.6 assist percentage in 2025. In reality, that's nearly a 20 percent increase from last season.
Logging 70 minutes through the first two games, I'm expecting heavy minutes from Clark tonight. The Dream moved their home matchup to State Farm Arena, which holds more fans. Not to mention, this matchup will air on Prime Video.
Ranked No.4 in offensive rating (110.9), there should be plenty of scoring opportunities for Indiana, who rank No.3 in pace. Although last game was high scoring, the Dream rank No.12 in defensive rating (115.7). Compare that to the Fever, who lead the WNBA in defensive rating (88.2).
