The Aces return home after a successful three-game road trip where they picked up impressive wins against the Seattle Storm, the Atlanta Dream, and the Washington Mystics.
The Aces aim to make it 11 wins in their last 12 when it takes on a Sky team that is coming off back-to-back double-digit losses to league-leaders New York Liberty.
Against the Liberty, the Sky found itself in no-man’s land losing 91-76 on Thursday before dropping an 81-67 decision over the weekend.
An acid test awaits Chicago when it takes on a Las Vegas team that handed them a 12-point beatdown earlier this season. Will the Sky pull off the upset or will the Aces continue its win streak?
With plenty of questions and so little answers available, let’s look at how the current Las Vegas Aces vs Chicago Sky odds currently stand according to the bookmakers.

Chicago Sky Injury Report
The Las Vegas Aces started the season on the wrong end of the spectrum. However, since the return of guard Chelsea Gray, they have been seemingly impossible to beat winning 10 of their last 11 games.
What is even more remarkable is nine of those were double-digit wins. Up next for the Aces is a Chicago Sky team, which they’ve already manhandled earlier this season.
It can be recalled that the Aces came in as 8.5 favorites in their previous meeting against the Sky.
Considering the Aces’ recent run of success and Chicago’s inconsistent road record, backing them to cover the - 14.5 spread at -110 should offer value to punters.
Expected to carry the scoring cudgels for the Aces is A’ja Wilson who has been nothing short of impressive this season. In their past matchup against the Sky, the 27-year old Wilson unloaded for 31 points and six rebounds on 10-for-19 shooting to nullify the offensive explosion of Chicago’s scoring duo of Marina Mabrey and Chennedy Carter, who combined for nearly half of the Sky's total offensive production.
Inconsistency has haunted the Chicago Sky all season. Now, they are in danger of dropping out of the playoff picture heading into the All Star break. Following successive victories against the Atlanta Dream and the Seattle Storm, the Sky has only won once in their last four games.
But, if there is one thing the Sky can take solace on is the Aces are also inconsistent when covering the spread.
Besides Cardoso, the Sky bench also needs to step up. Chicago only got nine points from its bench players in their last meeting against Las Vegas.
Should things fall into place for the Sky, it is within the realm of possibility for the road squad to cover the +14.5 spread at -110.
Although I love the frontcourt pair of Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso and backcourt duo of Marina Mabrey and Chennedy Carter, it’s just hard to pick against the Las Vegas Aces.
They are healthy and have been beating teams by double digits on the road. With the Aces returning home and the Chicago Sky currently in shambles, it’s hard to see a different outcome.
