With Breanna Stewart’s injury status still up in the air, I am extremely tempted in picking the Connecticut Sun to win outright. Albeit an injury to Moriah Jefferson, the Sun heads into this matchup as the much healthier team.
- Plus, as mentioned above, they are fresh off their biggest win of the season.
One thing that is holding me back, though, is New York is the better team on paper. They have more depth and are playing in front of their home fans.
- The Liberty is 11-1 (win-loss) when playing at home this season, which makes the Sun at moneyline a riskier play.
Nevertheless, I am taking a flier on the much healthier Connecticut Sun squad to cover the spread on the road against the New York Liberty at -110.
