WNBA Same Game Parlay Picks (July 19): Chicago Sky vs. Atlanta Dream

Publish Date: Jul 19, 2026
Fact checked by: Sara Jane Gamelli
Key Points
  • Chicago is 5-5 SU and 6-4 ATS in its last ten; Atlanta is 4-6 SU and 1-9 ATS in its last.
  • Angel Reese has gone over her Pts + Reb total (29.5) in three of her last four games, but in only nine of 24 games this season.
  • Sydney Taylor has averaged 13.3 points per game this season but has averaged 17.4 points per game over her last five.

The first time the Atlanta Dream and Chicago Sky faced off earlier in the season was a great game to watch and bet on. Chances are good that the rematch should be just as intriguing from a betting perspective, whether you’re interested in the traditional betting line, WNBA player props, or both.

In a moment, I’ll go over my best WNBA Same Game Parlay (SGP) for the game. But first, let’s take a look at the betting line.

Chicago vs. Atlanta: My WNBA Same Game Parlay

Sky +10.5 at -110

Atlanta has been on a roll on the offensive end, scoring 95.2 points a game over its last five. Allisha Gray and Angel Reese have both averaged 20 points a game, and three other players have averaged in double digits. But the Dream has been struggling on the defensive end (90.4 points per game, which puts them in the bottom third in this stretch).

However, the real question when it comes to Atlanta is whether it has worked its way out of the funk that led to losing five in a row.

You could make a case that winning three of their last four is proof that they have. But Seattle, Los Angeles, and Toronto aren’t exactly the cream of the crop. Then again, neither is Chicago. However, the Sky have been playing decent basketball of late. In some respects, they’ve been playing as well or better than Atlanta this season:

  • Points per game: Chicago—87.1—Atlanta—89.2
  • Effective Field Goal %: Chicago—49.2%—Atlanta—49.7%
  • Turnover %: Chicago—14.2%—Atlanta—14.4%
  • Opponents Points Per Game: Chicago—89.4—Atlanta—85
  • Opponents Effective Field Goal %: Chicago—49.5%—Atlanta—55.2%

Over the last five games, Chicago has played like a top-five defense, earning a 104.8 rating; Atlanta’s was 108.8 (ninth-best). The Dream has been better on the offensive end (114.1 to 107.1). But considering how these teams have been comparable all season, and with Chicago playing solid defense at the moment, I’m not confident the Dream can cover a double-digit spread. Chicago will stay within ten.

Sydney Taylor, Over 14.5 Points at -128

If your first thought is “Who?” I understand. It was mine, too. But that unfamiliarity can work in bettors' favor.

Taylor is averaging 19.4 minutes, 13.3 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game this season. She has played in 23 games and started 12. In the first ten games, her playing time was erratic, ranging from three to 23 minutes. She scored under 10 (or not at all) in seven games and had 11, 15, and 27 in the other three games.

But since then, her playing time has become more consistent (20+ minutes in every game) and her production has become much more reliable. In her last 13 games, she has finished over this total nine times, including her last five, where she has averaged 17.4 points per game.

Guards score almost half of the points Atlanta allows (41.7 points per game). Factor in how Atlanta has been struggling on defense, and Taylor goes over this total for the sixth consecutive game.

Angel Reese, Under 29.5 Pts + Reb at -114

Reese has been getting it done for the Dream this season, averaging 15.7 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. She recorded a double-double in seven of her last eight games and missed making it eight in a row by a single rebound.

As far as this market is concerned, she has recorded over 29.5 Pts + Reb in three of her last four games. In the one game against Chicago earlier in the year, she went for 17 points and 17 rebounds. So, take the over, right? Not so fast. When you look at the entire season, the over becomes less enticing. She has finished over this total in only three of her last ten games and in nine of 24 this season.

While she easily finished over this total when these two teams met back on June 9, Chicago has been playing solid defense of late. The Sky will certainly not shut her down, but they'll slow her down enough to keep her just short of this total.

SGP Odds: +368

At these odds, it will take a $28 wager to win $100 ($103.17 to be exact).
