It's a full slate of games on Tuesday, starting in the Motor City where the Detroit Tigers host the defending American League champion New York Yankees in the early afternoon. That game will feature Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal for the Tigers.
As we do every Tuesday of the MLB season, we're consulting FanDuel Sportsbook to find opportunities in the odds for the Best Picks to Hit a Home Run.

In this article I select nine hitters who are a compelling case for a four-bagger in today's baseball action
As always, bet responsibly, and only wager what is in your budget and what you can afford to lose.
So far in the first two weeks of the MLB season, torpedo bats be damned: home runs are being hit at the same pace as they were in 2024. That's 3.0 HR per 100 plate appearances.
If anyone has a reason to smack a home run, it's Vladdy Jr., who has 500 million based on the 14-year, $500 million contract he's reportedly poised to sign soon with the Blue Jays.
Guerrero has averaged 34 HR from the age 22-25, his last four seasons. Yet, the son of a Hall of Famer has yet to hit a circuit blow in 2025.
ODDS: +560 (odds courtesy of FanDuel sports betting app)
The league home run leader will face Tarik Skubal in Detroit this afternoon. Judge has a 429/429/1000 slashline against the Tiger lefty, with two home runs in 14 plate appearances.
ODDS: +300 (bet $100 and win $300 if Judge goes deep)
Another former All-Star and son of a former ballplayer. Tatis Jr. has hit only two home runs in 2025. Tatis won a home run title and hit 42 jacks in 2021 when he finished third in National League
Most Valuable Player Award voting. At 26, he's still one of baseball's best young players, and a threat to win an MVP award any year in the future.
ODDS: +450
The Boston outfielder is in the news this week for having admitted in an article that he attempted suicide a few years ago when he was battling depression. Thankfully for Jarren, his family, and the fans of Boston's baseball team, Duran is alive and well, and one of the most dynamic players in the game.
Duran was eighth in American League Most Valuable Player Award voting in 2024, when he hit 21 home runs. He has yet to go deep this season.
Last year, Duran slowed out of the gate, with just one home run by the end of April, and two by May 16. But if he hits one today, its +750 odds. A winning $100 bet at those odds will win you $750.
ODDS: +750
The San Diego Padres face the A's in Sacramento tonight, playing in a Triple-A ballpark against a pretty dismal pitching staff. Manny is looking for his first home run of the season.
ODDS: +500
You may not know Paredes that well. There may not be any Astros' fans wearing his jersey (yet). Paredes may not have made Houston forget Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker.
He's averaged 23 HR the last three seasons, and his stroke is made for The Juice Box. I like Paredes' chances to hit 35 HR in 2025.
Paredes has just one extra-base hit in his first nine games as an Astro. He may be off to a cool start, but Space City will love this guy before October.
ODDS: +520
Chourio was one of the best rookies in the league last season (21 HR & 22 SB). With a short swing that gets to the baseball quickly, Chourio has the makings of a big power threat.
Bet $100 with FanDuel, and if Chourio hits a home run, you'll win $540, including your stake.
ODDS: +440
Slowly, almost secretly, Mickey Moniak is becoming one of the most effective platoon threats in baseball. The left-handed center fielder has yet to make a plate appearance against a southpaw this season. He will face righty Freddy Peralta on Tuesday in Colorado.
If you're looking for a longshot MLB player prop, here's a great option with Moniak in Colorado. He has modest career numbers, but that's because he only starts against right-handed pitching.
But make no mistake: Mickey is a threat to go deep as long as he's squaring off against a RHP.
ODDS: +1000
Schwarber hit four homers in the first six games of the season. He will have a tough task in Chris Sale of the Braves, but the big left-handed slugger is always a fantastic possibility to put the baseball over the wall.
ODDS: +350
