Then there are low-key bangers like Adrian Yanez vs. Vinicius Salvador, Tom Nolan vs. Victor Martinez, and Oumar Sy and Tuco Tokkos.
With this stacked fight night event on tap this weekend, we take a look at the odds, predictions, and best bets to put money into your pockets. So, let's get down to business!
MAIN CARD
PRELIMS
Brazilian prospect Kleydson Rodrigues is in a must-win scenario coming into this matchup against Alatengheili. He now sits at just 1-2 in the world's biggest promotion after dropping his last fight against Farid Basharat. Even with that loss, Rodrigues has the tools to get the job done in this matchup this weekend at the UFC Apex.
Rodrigues is an elite striker who likes to utilize his speed, movement, and kicks to keep his opponents at the end of his strikes. That is something he must do against a bruiser like Alatengheili will be looking to just press the action and throw heavy hooks.
Luckily for Rodrigues, his style of fighting is the perfect gameplan against Alatengheili who's had problems against it in the past.
Rodrigues should be able to stay on the outside and just pick apart the flat-footed Alatengheili and as long as he doesn't get clipped in the process he should win down the stretch on work rate and get the nod on the judge's scorecards getting him back into the win column.
Piera Rodriguez finally gets to get back into the Octagon after her most recent bout against Cynthia Calvillo fell through after Calvillo egregiously missed weight and was subsequently released from the UFC.
Now, Rodriguez gets to right the ship after taking her first professional loss when she welcomes back Ariane Carnelossi after a long layoff.
Rodriguez was a perfect 9-0 until she met her match against Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Gillian Robertson who ultimately submitted her in round two.
Now, she gets to take on a bruiser in Carnelossi who's looking to throw heavy bombs but has shown to have gas tank issues which should favor Rodriguez in this matchup.
Rodriguez should have the speed, technical striking, and cardio advantages in this matchup that as long as she doesn't get clipped on the feet she should be able to outwork Carnelossi throughout the course of this fight and get back into the win column this weekend at UFC Vegas 92.
Themba Gorimbo is the feel-good story of the UFC. He came from nothing fighting in his native Zimbabwe and being the only fighter from that region in the UFC and turning his and his family's life around by becoming a UFC fighter.
However, his UFC career didn't get out to the start that he had hoped by dropping his UFC debut to AJ Fletcher via second-round guillotine choke.
He was able to get himself back on track in his next two fights with his last fight being a brutal 32-second knockout of Pete Rodriguez that put him on the map. Now, Gorimbo will be taking on grappling ace Ramiz Brahimajw who's coming off a length layoff due to injuries this weekend at the UFC Apex.
While Gorimbo isn't the most technical fighter he makes up for it with his wild style of fighting, his power, and his toughness. In this fight, he will be at a disadvantage when the fight hits the mat but on the feet, he's going to be the fighter who will be landing the much harder shots and the one who will be able to dictate where this fight will take place.
Brahimaj will sell out for the takedowns and will even take Gorimbo's back but if he can scramble back to his feet and not get finished expect him to catch Brahimaj with something on the feet extending his winning streak to three in a row.
