NFL Prop Bets Week 10: Giants vs Panthers NFL Picks and Predictions (Sunday, November 10)

The New York Giants will kick off out NFL Sunday this Week 10, taking a four-game losing streak into Munich where they'll meet the lowly Carolina Panthers.

With the Panthers' defense in a spot of disarray, and the Giants taking a huge step back on that end last week, we should have the opportunity to profit from this game by surveying the many NFL Player Props markets available for this one.

Without further ado, let's get into the best player prop bets to make for Giants vs Panthers in Germany this week.

BEST NFL PROP BET: Devin Singletary Over 20.5 Rushing Yards

Best Odds: -120 at DraftKings

The Giants enter this game as sizable favorites, in large part because they've shown competence on offense and will be pitted against a Panthers defense which has been abysmal just about any way you slice it.

• With that, I think the game script here will call for plenty of runs -- something we've seen out of Carolina's opponents in recent weeks as there's been little reason to cease handing the ball off.

The Panthers sit dead last in DVOA against the run, and while you may expect me to back starter Tyrone Tracy, Jr. to have a big game -- the smart money is actually on his backup.

Devin Singletary hasn't been invisible in this offense, playing roughly 30% of the snaps last week, and he was handed the ball seven times as he eclipsed 20 yards for a fifth time in seven games.

Yes, Singletary was starting earlier in the year and has since seen his role diminished, but a quick look at the recent games that the Panthers have played will tell you he's a great bet here. Outside of last week, when they were up against a volume machine in Alvin Kamara, backup running backs have run all over this Carolina defense.

• Jaleel McLaughlin carried eight times for 47 yards in Week 8, Jeremy McNichols amassed 42 yards on seven totes in Week 7, and Tyler Allgeier wound up out-gaining starter Bijan Robinson in Week 6 with a whopping 105 yards.
• I'm not afraid to fire up Singletary here even if he now sits behind Tracy on the depth chart, and he is one of my favorite bets of the day.

BEST NFL PROP BET: Theo Johnson Over 2.5 Receptions

Best Odds: +100 at DraftKings

Yes, I did mention that the Giants should have little reason to throw the ball a ton against Carolina, but it won't take a heavy reliance on the pass to get Johnson to three catches.

The Giants' top tight end has caught three or more passes in four of his last five games, and draws an excellent matchup against a Panthers defense which has ranked dead last in DVOA to opposing tight ends.

In allowing 7.4 targets per game to the position this year, there's a clear vulnerability up front for Carolina -- and Johnson has quickly proven himself to be a reliable receiver for Daniel Jones in hauling in 78.9% of his gargets over the past six games.

Given Johnson was out there for 85% of the snaps a week ago and has played 85% or more in his last four, I think he's a sure bet to be involved as New York looks to move the ball downfield.

BEST NFL PROP BET: Xavier Legette Over 3.5 Receptions

Best Odds: -115 at BetMGM

Finally, we'll head to the other side to take a look at a line that's too good to ignore on Xavier Legette.

Whether you know or not of the rookie out of South Carolina, an injury to Adam Thielen has vaulted him into the top wideout position in Carolina for Bryce Young. The volume has certainly been becoming of his role in recent weeks, too, as he's hauled in four passes in each of his last two contests on a total of 13 targets.

Legette can move, and he's been a hot check-down option for Young as he's dealt with a brutal pass blocking group up front. With few options on offense, you'd expect Legette to continue having a sizable role.  The news of all is that the Giants have ranked 31st of 32 teams in defending the WR1 position, giving up about 10 yards per target.

• You could roll with the rookie's yardage prop here, sure, but the fact that he's been used as a possession receiver in short yardage would indicate to me that his receptions are the safer call.
