On May 7th, card transactions and ACH processing had been severely disrupted at Yotta.
Yotta customers remain unable to make withdrawals due to ACH processing being unavailable via Lineage Bank and Evolve Bank.
Check the Yotta payment processing status page for regular progress reports as Yotta works towards a resolution.
Unfortunately, you will be unable to make a withdrawal of any existing funds in your account at the moment. While you have the option to put in a withdrawal request, it will be held in a pending state. But, rest assured, Yotta is working relentlessly with banks and regulators to try and resolve these on-going issues. In the meantime you can keep a watchful eye on their payment processing status page for regular updates and progress reports. You can also check out our ‘Yotta/Withyotta Accounts closed - What to do?’ blog for more information on that topic.
The recent controversy and problems at Yotta stem from halted ACH processing for Synapse Brokerage accounts, among which are those held by Yotta customers. The processing had originally been halted by Lineage Bank on the 7th May, after informing Yotta that the processing would be handed over to Evolve Bank. However, on May 11th, Yotta were told that Evolve had no prior agreement to facilitate the takeover of the ACH processing and as a result all card transactions at Yotta failed.
Since the disruptions players have been unable to withdraw funds from their accounts, which has been frustrating for many players to say the least. There’s also been a lot of concern and confusion as to what is going on and when the problem will be resolved. For now the best thing to do is wait patiently for a resolution and check in on the payment processing status page for updates. Beyond this, the inconvenience this has created has caused many players to start looking at alternatives to Yotta.
