In the latest Sports News, tonight for the 95th time, Major League Baseball will play its All-Star Game. This time the spectacle takes place in Atlanta, the site of one of the most beautiful ballparks in professional baseball.
An All-Star Game is always a test of how far a sportsbook will go to provide odds markets for sports fans. Some betting services avoid odds because it's not easy to predict how an exhibition like an All-Star Game will be played.
Luckily, the MLB All-Star Game is still an entertaining and dramatic contest where players try to win, and play well on both sides of the ball. This isn't the NBA All-Star Game: where we wonder if anyone will ever play defense again.

I have three best bets for game props on the 2025 MLB All-Star contest:
Ok, technically this is a player prop, but it's tied to the game scenario of first pitch. Paul Skenes, the talented flamethrower from the Pittsburgh Pirates, will toss the game's first pitch to the leadoff batter for the AL.
If the first pitch of the game to Gleyber Torres is in excess of 98.9 miles per hour (99 mph or faster by MLB's official radar gun), your $100 bet will be worth $240. These odds are from our friends at FanDuel.
A First 5 bet is on which team wins the first five full innings. In this case, three betting platforms have the same odds:
I like the AL lineup to play longer than the NL lineup, which means the AL starters get more plate appearances. A slight edge for the Junior Circuit.
If you feel a tie is likely, wager $100 and if the game is knotted after 5 innings, you win $390 plus your stake.
Not a sexy prop pick, but an excellent one for those who want to record a winner. In this case you'll need to wager $240 to win $100 as long as the ninth inning is a tie. That means the AL and NL need to score the same number of runs in the 9th frame.
Wager $24 to win $10, wager $120 to win $50, and so on based on the 240:100 ratio for these odds from DraftKings Sportsbook.
Here's every slugger with odds better than +1000 to hit a home run in tonight's MLB All-Star Game:
Odds are from FanDuel Sportsbook.
How about two longshot players to hit a home run tonight?
Baez is the first player to be elected to the All-Star Game as a shortstop and a center fielder. He's made a remarkable and frankly, unbelievable comeback from three dreadful years with Detroit. He's hardly Mike Trout in center field, and still susceptible to a slider down and away, but if a pitcher makes a mistake, Javy can drive the baseball far.
How appropriate would it be for an Athletics player to hit a bomb in the All-Star Game the same season that the team abandoned Oakland? Essentially the A's are MLB's homeless nomads, sentenced to at least two years at Sacramento. But, if you're a fan of the green and gold, at least Wilson is a young player to be proud of.
Wilson is the favorite to win the AL Rookie of the Year Award. He's priced at +115 to win the award by BetMGM and FanDuel. Wilson, a tall shortstop, is batting .332 and has an opportunity to become the first rookie to win a batting title since Ichiro Suzuki in 2001. Aaron Judge holds a 20-plus point lead, but that could narrow quickly as the season wears on.
if Wilson should homer in the ASG, your $100 wager would win a cool $1,800. That's enough to have a nice weekend in Sacramento.
American League 4, National League 2. MVP = Riley Greene, Detroit.
