A future Hall of Fame pitcher will be on the mound tonight in Seattle. The Blue Jays send Max Scherzer to the bump in an effort to square the American League Championship Series.
In the other LCS game on Thursday it's the Dodgers hosting the Brewers at Dodger Stadium. The defending world champions are up 2-0 in this series. Oddsmakers have LA listed as the overwhelming favorite to win the World Series, at -140, according to DraftKings and FanDuel.

Yesterday I made four MLB Playoff bets, winning two. That left me up $241.
Today's betting odds are from FanDuel mobile sports betting app.
Call this the Dodgers 1-2 Punch Parlay. I like LA to make it three straight wins over Milwaukee. The theme of this series has been starting pitching, and I suspect it will be again on Thursday. However, you have to score runs to win.
For the Dodgers, Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani are typically in the mix when left turns are made on the bases. Here's a parlay that could make it a big winning night for MLB bettors.
A winning bet on the above parlay will net $733. Or bet $10 and if you win, take home $73.30.
My second bet for Game 3 of the NLCS is a player prop.
Glasnow is not a good play on K's over/under. His K rate has slipped in each of the last four seasons. He's suffered a sore shoulder in three of the last four seasons. He missed more than two months this season due to an injured wing. He should be well-rested.
But the reason I like this wager is the pressure the Brewers will feel in the first inning combined with the impetus Glasnow will have to match the performances by Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Trying to match your pitching teammates is a real thing, and Glasnow will want to show the Dodgers what he can do in October following iconic performances by the LA starters in Games 1 and 2.

What's the most interesting thing we saw in Game 3 on Wednesday night? Was it the 12 runs scored by the rejuvenated Toronto lineup? Was it the gritty performance by Shane Bieber? Was it the four hits by Vlad Guerrero Jr.?
No, it actually may have been Seattle manager Dan Wilson's decision to allow George Kirby to surrender eight runs.
He was the man behind the mask, a venerated catcher for the Mariners in more than 1,200 games. That means he was thinking a lot while he was on the diamond.
But I wonder what Wilson was thinking in Game 3 when he kept his starting pitcher in to get pummeled. Kirby allowed eight hits, two walks, eight earned runs, and three home runs.
By the time Kirby was yanked from Game 3, Seattle was down 8-2. The white flag seemed to be waving, and Seattle fans, eager for the franchise's first home playoff win in the ALCS in exactly 25 years (October 15, 2000).
Instead, the M's were buried. And worse yet, Toronto's entire lineup seemed to get warm: the team belted five home runs. In some way, it feels as if the M's are looking up at Toronto despite holding a 2-1 lead.
Tonight, the Mariners will face the pressure of needing to hold off the Blue Jays offensive firepower. There are at least three hitters in the TOR lineup that I like for power on Thursday: Vlad Jr., Alejandro Kirk, and the man I'm selecting for a HR player prop:
My second wager for Jays vs Mariners is a Player Prop for the best player on Seattle:
