After a fast start to the season against some suspect competition, the Cleveland Cavaliers have proven to be one of the toughest teams in the Eastern Conference with a 7-0 record heading into play on Monday.
Now, they'll be feasting their eyes on a Milwaukee Bucks team which has been dreadful at 1-5 to open up the 2024-25 season and could be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for his full complement of minutes.
What can we learn from how both teams have started the season, and more importantly how can we profit from it?
Let's build a same-game parlay for Bucks vs Cavaliers on Monday, November 4th and lay out a few props that will work well as standalone straight bets as well.

Zooming out to look at the Bucks' defense, we might first think here to attack the inside. After all, Milwaukee has allowed 69.7% shooting at the rim in the early going to rank 24th in the NBA.
Instead, I think we want to look at who can preform in the mid-range, where the Bucks have given up a ton of looks and rank 23rd in field goal percentage allowed.
That brings me to none other than Donovan Mitchell who currently ranks sixth in mid-range attempts per game and has cashed in on a handsome 53.6% of them this year. He should have the ability to get up plenty of shots from his favorite zone on the floor, and his exceptional quickness means he should be one of the few who's able to get to the rim and exploit Milwaukee's lack of defense down there.
This is a number that Mitchell's hit just twice this year, but one of those instances came last time out against the Bucks.
Dean Wade hit a pair of 3-pointers in Saturday's win over Milwaukee, and I'm set to back him again at this very generous line.
While he's only shot just 33.3% from deep this season, Wade has taken five 3-pointers per game in his last six contests and is coming off a career-year from outside where he converted on 39.1% of his looks.
Milwaukee has sat in the top half of the league in terms of 3-point shots allowed, and it ranks just 15th in defending the arc. This should once again put Wade into a good spot to produce and continue to enjoy some positive regression in the shooting numbers.
Finally, we'll quickly grab this line on Giannis Antetokounmpo's rebounds before anything comes out about his status for this game.
This is a familiar story for the Cavaliers, who own a great anchor in the frontcourt in Jarrett Allen but who have struggled over the years to clean the glass. Last season, Antetokounmpo was one of the many players to torment them down low with 15 rebounds per game, and he picked up right where he left off on Saturday.
If he plays, I expect Antetokounmpo's rebounding prowess to once again be too much for Cleveland to handle -- and with a short bench once again he should receive plenty of run here to pad his numbers.
