NFL Week 1 is in the books and we had a lot going on!
From the New England Patriots scoring the huge upset over Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals to Baker Mayfield throwing 4 touchdowns against the Commanders. Aaron Rodgers made his season debut and got blown out by the San Francisco 49ers. It was so bad that he was benched for the last series of the game.
We can only imagine what could happen in Week 2 but one certain thing is that there will be a ton of made to be made on props. We take a look at the best props for Week 2 of the NFL season.
J.K. Dobbins is finally back looking like the running back many thought he would be coming out of Ohio State. Unfortunately, injuries have plagued his NFL career but now with those injuries on the back burner and working with one of the best coaches in the league Jim Harbaugh he is on his way to potentially breaking out.
While Dobbins will still be competing with Gus Edwards for carries, he is the more explosive back out of the two giving him more opportunities for big chunk plays like he had against the Raiders for that 61-yard touchdown.
Seeing as the Chargers should be up in this game, the positive game script should see Dobbins have an increase in touches giving him ample opportunities to hit over this total on Sunday and cash a big number.
This prop means that Jayden Daniels must run or catch two scoring touchdowns not passing touchdowns for clarification. While Daniels didn’t have the most efficient game throwing the ball, he made plays through the air. He did so especially on the ground in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He plays a vital part of this Commanders’ offense through the air and on the ground. Daniels gets to go up against one of the worst defenses in the NFL the New York Giants.
The Giants in Week 1 couldn’t stop the Minnesota Vikings on offense whatsoever. They allowed Aaron Jones to rush for 94 yards and 1 touchdown on 14 carries.
With how the Giants give up the short field with their turnovers and sacks, Daniels will have ample opportunities to find pay dirt with his feet and cash this big prop bet.
Anthony Richardson had himself a game against divisional rivals Houston Texans in Week 1. He was getting it done through the air and on the ground which made him unstoppable.
We can’t expect the same type of game to happen in Green Bay in Week 2. This is mainly because the Packers will most likely be without Jordan Love. If ruled out, this should be a relatively low-scoring game.
That means Richardson should see more opportunities. With designed runs out of shotgun or pistol formations, they should have a positive game script in this one.
In the 3 games in his career where he had 5+ carries, Richardson has averaged 50.7 yards per game. Expect more running out of Richardson in this game, which will lead to more yards on the ground hitting the over on this total in Week 2.
