The Los Angeles Chargers are desperate for a win after falling to 8-6 with three losses in their last four games, and things won't be very easy on Thursday as they look to take out the mighty Denver Broncos on the road after just a few days of preparation.
L.A.'s defense has crumbled a bit lately, which could open the door for both teams to pass the ball and put Justin Herbert in a spot to shine along with a couple of skill position players.
Let's highlight a few players who should have some big games under the lights as we build a same-game parlay for Broncos vs Chargers on Thursday Night Football this week.

We'll start with the hardest sell, which is for Justin Herbert to get it going here in the passing game. The veteran has not found a great deal of success in the passing game in recent weeks even with a slight uptick in passing attempts, averaging 193.3 yards per game on 30.5 throws in his last four contests, and now meets one of the best secondaries in football.
That should make it hard for the Chargers to lean on the run here as they prefer to do, and with their defense looking vulnerable in recent weeks there's certainly a world where L.A. falls behind here and is forced to throw the ball.
Herbert went 21-for-34 in that one for 237 yards, and I don't expect a much different story here with the veteran consistently throwing the ball deep downfield. He ranks seventh in air yards for the season, and in the last five weeks is second of the quarterbacks to run at least 12 plays.
In chorus with a great spot for yards after the catch, as we'll get to in a moment, I think this number is highly attainable once again.
Ladd McConkey seems to be the golden boy for the Chargers, and he looks to be to the golden boy for them in this specific matchup on Thursday as well.
The rookie has quickly cemented himself as one of this team's most important pieces on offense, averaging nearly seven targets per game and 8.5 in his last four contests, and he's quietly put up an Average Depth of Target of over 10 yards.
That means that McConkey should get the ball a very reasonable distance from the line of scrimmage as we hunt down yards here, and on top of that the Broncos have allowed the 10th-most yards after the catch which should help McConkey, who ranks 25th in total YAC, boost his numbers even further.
McConkey led the Chargers with eight targets last go around against Denver, and while he caught just four balls he managed to amass 43 yards. We've seen a much better version of the young wideout in recent weeks, and he continues to get the ball rather deep downfield which should make his yardage prop a bit sweeter than the juiced price on his catches.
Speaking of yards after the catch, let's talk about the Chargers' defense for a minute, considering they've been one of the stingiest in the league when it comes to limiting what receivers have done with the ball in their hands after a completion.
That sure would seem to be Troy Franklin, who has caught two passes in each of his last four games and up until last week had turned those into 15 or more total yards.
Franklin scampered free for 31 yards on two grabs against the Chargers in Week 5, something that makes sense considering he's averaged a hefty 13.6 aDOT this season to lead all Denver receivers.
Bo Nix has quietly started to cook in recent weeks, averaging 251 yards in his last four contests, and even though the Chargers sit sixth in DVOA against the pass they've ranked just 25th in Success Rate allowed per dropback which should make the conditions for passing quite friendly.
