The Houston Texans are desperate for a win, dropping three of their last four games as their lead in the AFC South diminishes with each passing week.
Now, things get interesting this week as they take on their in-state rivals in a game where their opponents have little to lose with no expectations of making the playoffs.
Let's break down how this one should go, and highlight some players who should shine under the lights as we build a same-game parlay for Texans vs Cowboys on Monday Night Football this week.

My first order of business here is grabbing an alternate line on Rico Dowdle's rushing prop, which won't come at a great cost at all and helps us get to the magic number of 50.
Now, you might call me crazy -- and you'd have every right given the state of the team -- but I'm not so sure the Cowboys won't make this a game. That starts with Dowdle, considering on of the few weak spots for this Texans team seems to be the run.
That directly coincides with Cooper Rush taking over for the injured Dak Prescott under center, and with no choice but to run the Cowboys -- averse to the ground game all year -- may find some continued success in this matchup.
The other guy I want to buy a share of in this game is CeeDee Lamb.
Speaking of targets, it would seem that the transition from Prescott to Rush has gone smoothly for Lamb. He's led the team in targets by a wide margin over the last two games, totaling 22 altogether and continuing on with a run of 10 or more targets in four straight games.
Working out of the slot, Lamb should at times avoid the blanketing of talented corners Kamari Lassiter and Derek Stingley, Jr. and have a crack at a struggling Eric Murray at free safety.
Finally, we'll continue backing some developing trends for these two teams and short C.J. Stroud's passing total -- currently sitting just over 240 yards.
Stroud has failed to hit this mark in three of his last four games, and it can't be understated how great this matchup is for the Texans on the ground.
Opponents have run for 4.7 yards per carry on the Cowboys, ranked 23rd in the league, and Dallas is also sitting second-worst with 152.1 total yards allowed pr game on the ground along with 1.7 rushing touchdowns per game.
If you like the Texans to blow out the Cowboys here, too, this prop will neatly fit the game script.
