After taking care of business against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, the Los Angeles Rams will look to continue on the path towards .500 and make it two straight home wins when they take on the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football.

Minnesota remains unbeaten on the road, and now its already-excellent offense will get some additional help with tight end T.J. Hockenson expected to return for this contest. Should we back the veteran tight end, along with a pair of other pass-catchers here? I think we should.
Let's build a same-game parlay for Vikings vs Rams on Thursday Night Football this October 24th.

This is a sneaky line, considering most books haven't even put up any markets for Hockenson on account of his questionable tag. With that said, it would seem very likely he's active for this game given various reports.
Hockenson was heavily involved in this team's aerial attack a season ago, and should continue to enjoy life with Sam Darnold at the helm. The journeyman quarterback has been forcing the issue with the tight end position, getting blocking-minded backup Johnny Mundt at least two targets per game in each week and getting him up to a season-high five last week against Detroit.
The Rams' linebackers and safeties have been abysmal in coverage all season long, and while there may be a number of ways to attack them I think this leg is a no-brainer.
The Rams rank 24th in DVOA against the pass with several question marks deep in the secondary, so it's with that being said that I'll fire up Justin Jefferson to score a touchdown.
The matchup on Thursday will be quite different against third-year corner Cobie Durant, who grades out 50th of 104 corners in coverage according to Pro Football Focus.
Jefferson should have ample opportunities to gain separation, which he does better than almost anyone in the league, and coming off a bye week he should look better than ever considering his nagging injuries to begin the year.
This man has been a target monster, receiving 8.5 per game this season, and against such a soft secondary he should have a field day.
Finally, we'll pivot to the tight end on the other side of the field -- Colby Parkinson.
We don't normally think of Parkinson in the same vain as Hockenson, given he's been around for five seasons now and has made little impact in the passing game, but this should be the night to believe in him.
Attacking this team's linebacking group, and its safeties who have been rather unassuming, is an excellent idea if you're the Rams. The other thing they'll want to do is pick on Byron Murphy, who's continued the decline he began last season.
With Cooper Kupp back in the lineup, the Rams are likely going to look quite small at the wide receiver position -- and in Week 1 we saw Parkinson motion out to become this team's big outside possession receiver by default.
I think he'll get a little of Murphy and a little of Ivan Pace, Jr. as he looks for his third four-reception night in the past four games. He's been thrown to five or more times in four of L.A.'s six games and should be a factor on Thursday.
