Super Bowl LIX is less than 24 hours, and I have another betting article for you all! This time, featuring Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. With Taylor Swift and the Swifties expected in attendance, Kelce made it clear to the media that he needs to match Taylor Swift's energy on Super Bowl Sunday

That said, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will match up again on the brightest stage. A repeat of Super Bowl 57, Kelce already has a ring against the Eagles. A 3x Super Bowl Champion now is the time for Travis Kelce to show the world why he remains one of the best tight ends in the game.
With retirement looming, it would only fit the playbook of Travis Kelce goes out with a bang. That is if the tight end officially retires and walks away from the game of football. If this is, in fact, his last ever NFL game, I've provided the best Travis Kelce same-game parlay picks for Super Bowl LIX.
Let's take a look at my Travis Kelce player prop bets for Super Bowl LIX.
Odds: +144 (FanDuel)
My first prop for my same game parlay, I chose Travis Kelce to tally over 19.5 longest reception. As we all know, Kelce offense was abysmal last week vs the Bills. Logging 19 yards on 2 receptions, it was very unlike Kelce to have such a poor performance. Notching a longest reception of 11 yards, I think he bounces back in Super Bowl LIX.
This is an Eagles defense that screams elite. With that said, they aren't forgiving to tight ends, and we saw that in the regular season. Given the Eagles are third in dropback EPA, Mahomes won't get a ton of time in the pocket. As we know, the Eagles corners are a force to reckon with. The combination of Darius Slay, Quinyon Mitchell, and Cooper DeJean is deadly. And with that, you have to tip your hat to Howie Roseman. The Eagles drafted incredibly well.
There's no doubt the Eagles have a plan to attack Patrick Mahomes and the pass game. However, we saw Kelce log a longest reception of 49 yards against a stingy Texans defense in the AFC Divisional Round.
In fact, Kelce torched the Texans secondary, one that's respectfully decent against opposing tight ends. I've said this time and time again. A quarterback's best friend is their tight end. And time and time again, we've seen Mahomes connect with Kelce when it matters most.
While Kelce recorded a deep reception for 49 yards, we also saw him haul in a 23 and 18 yards. In fact, that 49 longest reception was one that led to the Xavier Worthy touchdown. If the Chiefs want to three-peat, Kelce will need to be heavily involved.
Sure Mahomes has veteran receivers in DeAndre Hopkins, Hollywood Brown, and JuJu Smith-Schuster. However, It's Travis Kelce making his fourth Super Bowl appearance. Although Kelce failed to record over 1,000 receiving yards for the second straight year, there's a ton of reasons why this is a strong player prop.
Limited to three touchdowns, Kelce still remains a top passing threat for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Now Kelce enters the Super Bowl hauling in 23.4 % of team air yards, and 53.6 air yards per game. Targeted 23.9 % on routes, the stats sure suggest Kelce will haul a longest reception over 19.5 yards.
However you look at this prop, sure the Eagles are elite on the defensive side of things. Notching over 19.5 longest yards in 1/3 head-to-head matchups, Kelce is a different player in the Super Bowl.
While tallying a longest reception of 11 yards in his first Super Bowl appearancfe against the 49ers, Kelce hasn't gone below this number since. Recording a longest reception of 33, 22, and 22 yards vs the Buccaneers, Eagles, and 49ers, Kelce has an average longest reception of 22 yards over four Super Bowls.
In fact in Super Bowl 57 vs the Eagles, we saw Travis Kelce haul in a 20 yard catch that led to him scoring a touchdown in the first quarter. With multiple long gains of 22, 18, and 20 yards, its clear that Mahomes over the middle to Kelce is clutch. Especially in crunch time.
My second leg of my Travis Kelce same game parlay, I bet on Kelce to record 60+ receiving yards. With the current line set at 60.5, knowing my luck, Kelce will cap out at 60.
He now gets a redemption against a team he's seen in the Super Bowl prior. As mentioned before, it was Kelce who led all Chiefs receivers with 81 yards on 6 receptions. If you remember, it's always an automatic Mahomes to Kelce over the middle connection that nearly sets up the Chiefs for a victory every time. In fact, we saw the two connect for a 22 yard game last Super Bowl.
It's not secret the Eagles are elite against tight ends this year. First in opposing tight end yards per game (35.7), thats nearly 30 points lower than what his player prop line is set at. However, over the playoffs it's been a different story.
In the last couple of games, we've seen Kelce cook the Steelers defense for 94 yards, and the Texans for 117 yards. Mind you, the Steelers and Texans are elite defensively. The Texans allowed the 8th least yards to tight ends in the NFL. How many players can say they've lit up Mike Tomlin and the Steelers?
I do believe this player prop is going to go one of two ways. Either Kelce will be involved in the passing game early, or will be bottled up by the Eagles. Either way, this is a player that's more than capable of getting a third of this prop just off one catch alone. Hence, the longest reception.
Aside from his first Super Bowl appearance, Kelce hasn't dipped below 81 receiving yards. In fact, Travis Kelce record 133 vs the Buccaneers, 81 vs the Eagles, and 93 against the 49ers. Averaging 87.5 receiving yards in four Super Bowls, this is a strong play for Sunday. Even with a career-low 8.5 yards per reception, I'm still hot on this prop.
My last leg of my Travis Kelce same-game parlay, I'm banking on the tight end to record 5+ receptions.
First of all, his two receptions against the Bills was quite an outlier performance. Totaling 5+ receptions in 11 games this season, Kelce finished off the season strong. Patrick Mahomes favorite target in the playoffs, Kelce leads all Chiefs receivers with 136 yards. Second in receptions (9), we saw Kelce haul in seven only vs the Texans.
Having appeared in four Super Bowls, Kelce hasn't dipped below six receptions, averaging 7.75 receptions in the Super Bowl. Once again, I'm predicting Patrick Mahomes to air the ball out given the Eagles are the top team in the NFL against the run.
While one can argue Kelce's production was down, his target count of 133 increased from last year. With that said, the tight end racked up 97 receptions in 16 games. If you do the math, that averages around to six receptions per game.
Regardless of age, Travis Kelce has been an absolute stud throughout the postseason. In 24 career playoff games, Kelce has recorded 174 receptions.
With retirement in question for Kelce, he has the opportunity to three-peat with the Chiefs. If not, Kelce still has the opportunity to make history in the playoffs. With that said, Kelce has the NFL record for most 100+ receiving yard games in the playoffs.
