They have been taking it to the Tampa Bay Rays in this road series winning all three games as they look for a fourth to sweep the series. They have outscored the Rays 20-5 during their three-game winning streak as the Rays have had trouble putting up runs on the scoreboard.

Things do not look like they are going to get much easier when the Orioles send ace Corbin Burnes to the mound to close out this divisional matchup.

• Burnes has been sensational this season with a 6-2 record, with a 2.26 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 76 strikeouts in 79.2 innings.
• He's been on fire over his last five games where he is 4-1 with a 1.00 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 32 innings, giving up 1 Earned Run or less in four out of those five games.

During that span, the Orioles have been giving great run support to their pitching staff.

However, Pepiot has yet to face a potent lineup like the Orioles all season long. Tampa Bay Rays (31-34) are now on the heels of three consecutive losses against their divisional foes the Baltimore Orioles. This has now dropped them to dead last in the AL East as they are 14 games behind the division-leading New York Yankees.

They are also just 17-21 in their home ballpark and will be looking to avoid the sweep in front of their home crowd when they play host to the Baltimore Orioles in the series finale on Monday night.

The Rays have been having trouble getting anything going in this series against the Orioles. They have only generated five runs in the three games with one of those three games getting shut out. They are hoping that surging pitcher Ryan Pepiot can turn things around when they send him to the mound in this series finale.
