What is the Stake Pump game?

What is the aim of Stake Pump?
In Stake Pump, you pump a balloon. Each time you pump that balloon, it has the potential to pop. Also, each time you pump the balloon, the multiplier increases. Therefore, the aim is to predict how many times you can pump before the balloon pops. Let’s look at a simple scenario to illustrate this:
- You use 5 Stake Cash on the ‘Easy’ difficulty level.
- You click the pump button.
- The balloon pumps successfully.
- Your multiplier increases to 1.02x.
- You click the "cashout" button.
- Calculated as 1.02 x 5, you win 5.10 SC.
Here you were successful as you stopped pumping before the balloon popped. However, anytime you press the pump button the balloon can pop and if it doesn’t, your reward is 0. There is therefore strategy involved as you have to toe a fine line between small and big multipliers, meanwhile curtailing your greed.
The game has four game modes to choose from - easy, medium, hard, and expert. The harder the difficulty, the larger the increase in multiplier between pumps, but also the greater the chance that the balloon pops. For example, these are the first 4x multipliers for each game mode:
If you hover over the multiplier you can also see the percentage chance that the balloon doesn’t pop. For example, in the easy game mode, there is a 95% chance that the balloon won’t pop on the first pump.
How do you play Stake Pump?
The game is incredibly easy to play and understand and you can get started by doing the following:
- Open Stake Pump.
- Enter your GC or SC amount in the “Amount” box.
- Select your difficulty from the drop-down menu.
- Click Play.
- Either click the Pump or Cashout buttons depending on what you want to do.
- Rinse and repeat.
