The UFC heads back to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV from a jam-packed UFC 303 PPV event.
Headlining this fight card is none other than the undisputed light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira who's looking to defend his title for a second time when he takes on former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka in a much-anticipated rematch.
Kicking off the main card is a fight in the welterweight division between two ranked competitors from across the pond as Ireland's Ian Garry takes on England's Michael Page as they look to surge up the rankings with a win this weekend at UFC 303.
With that said, we take a look at this main card fight and give out our prediction and pick for this Garry-Page matchup.
Ian Garry (14-0)Β has been on a roll ever since stepping foot inside the Octagon and he's now won all seven fights with the promotion. His most recent win was a split decision victory against Geoff Neal at UFC 298 which was his closest fight to date fighting for the UFC.
Now, Garry gets to put his undefeated record on the line against his toughest competitor to date Michael "Venom" Page. The former Bellator welterweight contender is not an easy task for Garry but he's willing to put his ranking on the line as he continues his rise to a welterweight title shot.
In this matchup, we should expect a striking heavy affair from both corners. Garry does his best work when he's pushing the pace being the aggressor, utilizing his length with his kicks to keep his opponents at the end of his strikes.
Against someone like Page, it's going to be a bit more difficult because of his karate-based style of striking.
Garry is going to need to lean on the heavy leg kicks and destroy the base of Page to hinder his movement as leans heavily on his lead leg. By doing this it takes away from Page being able to dart in and out of range to land his strikes.
It's going to be a tall task for Garry but it's certainly a matchup that can come through with the win as long he comes out there with urgency and looking to put it on Page as soon as the fight starts.
Michael Page (22-2) has been a longtime welterweight competitor for Bellator before he eventually became a free agent and signed with the UFC.
Page brings a load of combat sports experience in both kickboxing and MMA to the Octagon and he will be looking to get into the top 10 of the welterweight rankings when he takes on the undefeated Irishman Ian Garry.
Holland couldn't get the timing down on Page and Page was in and out of range in an instant having Holland swinging and missing throughout the entire fight.
The same goes for this matchup against Garyy, he's going to need to utilize that in-and-out movement to land his strikes before Garry can land his. G
It will be up to Page to keep Garry on the outside and if he's able to do that he will not allow Garry to land his strikes at range and he can just then pick apart and get his second victory inside the Octagon.

This is a fantastic matchup to kick off UFC 303's main card in the welterweight division between two ranked competitors looking to break through in the division as they look ahead toward a potential title shot.
Ultimately, we can expect this fight to be a bit of a chess match between these two strikers looking to throw down in the Octagon however, Garry's aggression and volume are going to pay dividends as Page will be looking to counter too much as Garry just edges him out in a close fight on the judge's scorecards.
FINAL GARRY-PAGE PICK & PREDICTION: IAN GARRY (-168)
