The UFC heads back to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV from a jam-packed UFC 303 PPV event.
Headlining this fight card is none other than the undisputed light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira who's looking to defend his title for a second time when he takes on former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka in a much-anticipated rematch.
We take a look at this main event fight and give out our prediction and pick for this Pereira-Prochazka matchup.
Alex Pereira (10-2) is the current undisputed light heavyweight champion and is coming off a brutal first-round knockout of Jamahal Hill at UFC 300. After the main event fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler fell through, Pereira does what he does best defending his belt on short notice.
This time he will be looking to defend his undisputed light heavyweight championship for a second time when he takes on familiar foe Jiri Prochazka in a highly anticipated rematch.
In their first encounter, Pereira was able to come out with the second-round knockout where Pereira was able to claim the undisputed light heavyweight championship.
Pereira was able to break down Prochazka with his patented calf kicks systematically. Those kicks hindered Prochazka's movement early on in the fight and paid dividends as it came to round two.
As Prochazka was on the chase for the finish he missed with a right hand that had him out of position and that's when he was caught with a counter right hand from Pereira that sat him down and was finished shortly thereafter.
In this rematch,
However, this fight is still a dangerous one for Pereira as it was looking like was going to be down two rounds to none if he wasn't able to land that finish towards the end of round two.
It will be up to Pereira to land those kicks early and often which will then open up the rest of his skills on the feet which will then lead to another knockout victory for the current UFC light heavyweight champion.
Jiri Prochazka (30-4-1) became the undisputed light heavyweight champion when he was able to defeat Glover Texeira who's Alex Pereira's head coach and good friend. During that victory against Teixeira, Pereira was in Teixeira's corner as he lost by submission in the 5th round.
However, Prochazka had to relinquish his title after suffering an injury that was going to keep him out of competition for a while. He was then able to get his chance to right the ship after getting healthy to face off against Alex Pereira to win back his undisputed title only to get knocked out in brutal fashion.
Now, after the cancelation of the previously announced main event between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, he gets his second shot to reclaim his undisputed title.
In this rematch, the awkwardness and the unpredictability of Prochazka will be key in this fight much like it was in the first one. Pereira had a tough time figuring out the timing of Prochazka and he was able to land a ton of shots on Pereira that others just weren't able to do.
It's up to Prochazka to do a better job at checking the leg kicks of Pereira and keep putting the pressure on Pereira making him fight off of his back foot.
If he can pressure Pereira and make him go backward that will negate a lot of his attacks and from there he can land his own devastating shots, land takedowns, and possibly get him out of there midway through this fight.

This is a fantastic matchup that the UFC was able to put together on such short notice as the two best light heavyweights in the UFC battle it out in a rematch for the undisputed light heavyweight championship.
Ultimately, we can expect this fight to be another chess match on the feet but this time Prochazka should be the one getting the better of the exchanges and utilizing his grappling more in this fight to be the first person to stop Pereira on the mat in his UFC career and reclaim the light heavyweight championship.
