In the main event, we have a middleweight showdown between two top-ranked fighters as Jared Cannonier and Caio Borralho battle it out in the Octagon looking to position themselves for a potential title shot in the future.
This fight night should bring a ton of excitement, so let's take a look at the best prop bets for UFC Vegas 96.
Best Prop Odds: Neil Magny vs Michael Morales Fight Goes The Distance (-140) FanDuel Sportsbook
On the main card, there is a welterweight matchup between a mainstay in the division Neil Magny and surging undefeated prospect Michael Morales.
Magny has fought the who's who of the welterweight division meanwhile, Morales is taking a big step up in competition to attempt to make a statement that he's the next big thing in the welterweight division.
In this matchup, it should be relatively close because both fighters fight at a slow pace as Morales will look at keep this fight at distance where he can use his range to land his strikes against Magny whereas Magny will be looking to get on the inside of the reach of Morales and use his grappling to stifle his offense.
This should result in a lot to stalling out with neither fighter doing enough to get the finish as we get a closely contested fight that goes the distance.
Best Prop Odds: Jared Cannonier vs. Caio Borralho Fight Goes The Distance (+110) DraftKings Sportsbook
In the main event, we have a fantastic matchup between two ranked competitors in the middleweight division. Cannonier is looking to get back on track after suffering his first loss since 2022 meanwhile, Borralho is searching for the biggest victory of his career to extend his UFC winning streak to 7 in a row.
This fight should be a real chess match between these two middleweights. Cannonier is going to look to utilize his leg kicks and heavy hooks to land damage on the feet. Meanwhile, Borralho will look to use his Karate-based striking-style to stay out of range of Cannonier's strikes until he times his takedowns to get this fight to the canvas.
Cannonier has shown impeccable takedown defense during his time at 185 lbs which should help him keep this fight on the feet. As for Borralho, he has shown durability and that he can take a punch which will keep him in this fight.
We should see these two battle it out in a closely contested fight to very end as they see the judge's scorecards.
Best Prop Odds: Tabatha Ricci by Decision (+135) FanDuel Sportsbook
Tabatha Ricci comes into this fight with a split-decision victory over seasoned veteran Tecia Pennington and will be looking for another win over a longtime UFC veteran Angela Hill this weekend.
Ricci has made strides during her time in the UFC and has really turned into a fighter to watch out for in the strawweight division.
She does well being the aggressor landing heavy strikes until shes able to get on the inside to utilize her judo to take the fight to the mat which where she will have a big advantage in this fight against Hill.
As long as Ricci can keep Hill on the back foot and do a good job at cutting off the cage she can be the busier fighter which will be good look on the eyes of the judges and walks away with the victory come Saturday night.
