The UFC is heading back to Las Vegas for a stacked fight night event at the UFC Apex. Headlining this event are two top-10 ranked heavyweight contenders Marcin Tybura and Serghei Spivac who are quite familiar with one another having fought several years ago.
This fight card has a ton of exciting matchups and that means there is money to be made this Saturday night, so let's take a look at the best underdog bets for UFC Vegas 95.
Best Underdog Odds: Marcin Tybura (+138) FanDuel Sportsbook
Marcin Tybura got himself back into the win column after getting brutally knocked out against the current interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall just two fights ago.
He was able to choke out Tai Tuivasa in just four minutes into the first round and he will be looking to replicate that same success and keep his winning ways going this weekend at UFC Vegas 95.
In this matchup against Spivac, he will need to do more of the same as he did in their first fight where he dominated in the grappling. Keeping this fight at distance gives Spivac the chance to win this fight but inside the clinch, Tybura will have the size and strength advantage to win those positions.
Best Prop Odds: Damon Jackson (+185) BetMGM Sportsbook
Damon Jackson got back on track with a big split-decision victory against Alexander Hernandez in his last fight.
Jackson will need to bring out the dog fight against Mariscal and make this a grueling fight to wear on Mariscal who drastically missed weight by over three pounds. The grappling pace that Jackson will set in this matchup will be key to him being victorious and getting back on another winning streak.
As long as Jackson can avoid spending long periods on the feet where Mariscal will have the speed advantage, he can drag this fight to the mat and dominate from thereafter to get his second win in a row and keep his winning ways going.
Best Prop Odds: Nikolay Verretennikov (+300) DraftKings Sportsbook
Nikolay Veretennikov gets his shot on the big stage when he steps up on short notice for his UFC debut to take on Danny Barlow this weekend at the UFC Apex.
Veretennikov is as tough as they come and will be looking to come forward and put the pressure on Barlow. By doing just that, he will be making Barlow fight off of his backfoot which is something he is not accustomed to doing.
If Veretennikov can avoid the power of Barlow's left hand while throwing volume his way there is a chance that he can either crack the chin of Barlow or just outwork him over the course of this fight to get his first win inside the Octagon and give Barlow the first defeat of his career.
