We only got nine innings on Tuesday: that was half the baseball we saw on Monday in Game 3. The Blue Jays did what seemed impossible: made Shohei Ohtani seem human.
This World Series is now deadlocked at two games each. We now know we will return to Toronto for at least one game, that will be Game Six on Friday.
My betting picks for MLB's World Series tonight are coming from odds by Caesars Sportsbook. I hope to rebound from a dismal Game 4 performance: I was 0-for-4 in mt game and player prop bets.

Immediately following Game One, which the Dodgers lost, starter Blake Snell explained how he was disappointed in the way he executed his pitching plan. You could see his determination to be better if he had the chance to face the Toronto lineup again.
I can't see the Jays having success against Snell twice in a series. The two-time Cy Young Award winner has a lot of pride. But more than that: Snell has oodles of talent. Expect the tall lefty to be terrific tonight. Stick with what Vegas expects: around 7 K's. A $128 bet will win $100 if Snell records at least 7 whiffs.
We only saw one home run in Game Four, off the bat of Vlad Guerrero Jr., against Ohtani. Tonight, I believe the pitchers will be stingy again. There's also been unusually cool weather in LA, which doesn't help the baseball travel.
Still, Guerrero is swinging BIG every trip to the plate. He walked and produced a single off Snell in Game One. His single traveled at 106 miles per hour. When it comes to bat speed, few can match Vladdy.
The play tonight for my baseball betting strategy is a $50 wager on Guerrero Jr. to hit a HR. If he does, I win $207.50 on +415 odds from Caesars Sportsbook.
As always, check DraftKings and FanDuel, to see what the HR prop odds are for the World Series.
Is something bothering Mookie Betts? He's betting .147 (5-for-34) in the NLCS and World Series, with one extra-base hit and zero RBI. As many times as Ohtani has been on base, it's almost impossible to have zero RBI through the last eight games.
Betts has been popping up pitches left and right. And literally TO left and right field. He's making it smart decision to walk Ohtani. Mookie isn't scaring anyone, and it's almost Halloween.
But...something happened late in Game 4: Mookie stroked a single to center field. It had no impact on the game, but it might have bene just what the former MVP needs to get himself going. It seemed like Betts approached that plate appearance like "make contact anywhere." In the last two series, he's usually been over-swinging.
Mookie will be in the No. 2 spot in Dave Roberts' lineup. If he gets a SINGLE in his first plate appearance, your $100 wager wins $475. I'm going a little lighter: $25 to win $118.75 on this player prop.
The Race To odds are found in Game Props of your favorite sports betting app. In this case, Caesars prices the Dodgers at -155 to be the first team to get to three runs.
The Dodgers have scored at least three runs in 25 of its 30 postseason games in the postseason in 2024 and 2025. They have scored at least four runs in three games in this World Series.
Don't go against the Dodgers lineup. Mookie has to get out of his slump. Andy Pages? It's about time he had a big hit, wouldn't you say? Hey, Kiké Hernández, we're looking at you.
Check out Ballislife Betting News for latest predictions and best bets for MLB games.
It's imperative that the Dodgers win tonight so they can fly back east to Toronto needing only one victory to finish off the pesky Blue Jays.
If there's anything the Dodgers do well: it's win when they need it. The last two postseasons, LA is 22-8, with a 6-1 record in games that would give them a lead in a series. They also have an 11-4 record at Dodger Stadium the last two postseasons.
