The first elimination game of the World Series is upon us. The Blue Jays can clinch the title tonight in Toronto in Game Six. First pitch will be tossed at 8:08 PM ET.
Toronto is a win away from doing something many experts didn't think was possible. Even before spring training, the Dodgers have been favorites to win a second straight championship. But here they are, one loss away from finishing as runner-ups.

If LA is going to force a Game 7, they have the right man on the mound: Yoshinobu Yamamoto has pitched consecutive complete games, including a masterpiece in Game 2 last weekend in this same ballpark.
But the Blue Jays have scored 12 runs in the last two games in this series to take control. They turn to Kevin Gausman to start Game 6 at Rogers Centre.
Odds for my Game 6 World Series picks are from BetMGM and FanDuel. Those sportsbooks and others have hundreds of odds markets for the World Series. Game props, player props, moneyline, parlays and more are up for grabs.

The last time a starting pitcher had as many as four starts in the postseason where got into the seventh inning was Gerrit Cole for the Astros in 2019. It's happened only three times since 2013.
To find the last pitcher who tossed two complete games in the same World Series, you need to go way back to 1988. That was another Dodger: Orel Hershiser.
Expect Yoshi to have his magic arm working tonight: the LA right-hander will go deep into this game.
A veteran team is fully aware that it's important to establish a lead in an elimination game. These Dodgers are veterans of the postseason. Friday's game will be the 32nd postseason game of the last 13 months for Los Angeles.
Manager Dave Roberts can't make his team hit, get on base, and score runs. But he can remind the Dodgers who they are: champions.
I am not sure which team will win the game tonight, but I feel strongly that if the Blue Jays are going to triumph, they will need to erase a Dodger lead.
Bet $110 to win $100 and collect your winnings if the Dodgers have a lead through five frames.

Does anyone still doubt Shohei Ohtani? Is there anyone who still doesn't think Ohtani is the modern day Babe Ruth? Well, maybe Giants fans, Padres fans, and most of the Angels fans have a difficult time celebrating Mr. 50-50.
But here we are, living in a time where Ohtani is showing off his two-way skills and reminding us all that he is a demi-god and we are mere mortals.
Has Ohtani had his signature postseason game of this October? I wouldn't bet against him doing something remarkable again in the final game or two of this Fall Classic.
Ohtani has eight home runs in 15 postseason games, with a .717 SLG and 14 walks. Of course, he also has a pitching arm hanging from the right side of his body. Manager Dave Roberts has not ruled out using Ohtani in the outfield, and potentially waving him in to serve as a relief pitcher if needed.
But beyond that intrigue, is the fact that Ohtani is overdue for a four-base hit. It's at the point where he is hitting at least one every three games or so.
If he hits one, and we wager $100, we win $210 plus our stake.
